CNN’s Eisen: SCOTUS Taking Too Long to Rule on Absurd Trump Immunity Claim
Breitbart ^ | 06/14/2024 | Pam Key

Posted on 06/15/2024 7:27:55 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

On Friday’s “Situation Room,” CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen lamented the U.S. Supreme Court’s deliberative process for former President Donald Trump’s criminal prosecution immunity claim.

Host Wolf Blitzer said, “Norm, it’s interesting that the court isn’t scheduled to issue more decisions until Thursday, further delaying any resolution to Trump’s immunity claim. At what point does holding that trial before the election become totally unrealistic.”

It’s also the Biden decision. If Trump wasn’t covered by immunity then neither is Biden’s interview tape

in a country with a fair and blind justice system, that would be true.

But our justice system has been corrupted by the left and is now being used as a weapon against the right, while simultaneously ignoring crimes committed by the left often the exact same crimes.

If the President has No Immunity, then ARREST Merrick Garland NOW, because NOBODY under the Authority of the President has immunity either.

If they kick the can down the road until January 20, 2024, the case may become moot.

Ketanji Brown Jackson is likely writing up the unanimous decision, just to put the hammer down on those lunatic lefties who are hoping for a dissenting vote... All of the judges will affirm Trumps immunity.

There’s no crying in baseball but there is in the judge’s chambers. I hope to see Sotomayer crying in her office as a hint that the J6 “insurrection” lawfare is to be put out of its misery by the Supreme Court 6-3 immunity decision. T think her office tears were the clarion to the press that the abortion decision two years ago would not go their way.

Norm’s perspective is as phony as that rug he wears on his head. SCOTUS is an independent branch of our government, its decisions as to time frame and sequence of releasing their decisions are their own. Norm, Ellie and Wolf can pound sand.

LOL. They brought these multiple phony cases just in time for the 2024 presidential election (which is criminal election intereferemce).

Now they want to cry because they cannot control the timing.

Yep, but look at the speed the DOJ can rule on Presidential Immunity regarding Garland!

The beast power wants nothing more than to destroy the Supreme Court. They are the last holdouts and even then some have been compromised.

I agree to this extent: I hate the regal show every year where everyone waits expectantly during the couple week period when the nine philosopher kings hand down their greatest decrees

Dems already destroyed executive privilege when Biden’s DOJ/FBI raided Michael Cohen’s home and office. Garland has no such claim anyhow as the DOJ in a non-fascist country acts independently of the President. These tyrants are out in the open now and frankly, they lack the intelligence to stay there and for the most part aren’t skilled liars.

Hmmm … I guess you’ve been hiding in a cave somewhere friend because it’s a two tier system …the conservatives go to jail and the evil left wing radical communist POS skate. Our DOJ, FBI and CIA are corrupt to the bone! And for good measure throw in the judicial branch!

The DOJ is basically saying that the AG is the personal attorney of the President if I’m reading them correctly. How in the world can Presidential immunity apply to an on-the-record interview in an investigation?

The only recourse against a president is impeachment.

From Wikipedia (for what that is worth): From 1985 to 1988, between college and law school, Eisen worked as the assistant director of the Los Angeles office of the Anti-Defamation League. He investigated antisemitism and other civil rights violations, promoted Holocaust education and advanced U.S.–Israel relations.

And now, as a loyal leftist, he is backing the 'Palestinian' side, that promotes antisemitism and wants another Holocaust.
