Well! Clearly only an absolute Monster would oppose the HUG program!! I have to say, however, that this "Universal Grant" is only available to eligible people. That seems like a hate crime.
Reduce taxes.
Wow, they can live like Kings on $500 a month huh?
I know the city of Pomona quite well, I grew up in adjacent Claremont, Ca. In fact, I went to first grade there when we lived close to downtown before moving to more upscale Claremont.
Nowadays, and for a long time, Pomona’s where you go if you want to buy crack and other drugs street side. It’s been a blighted city since the 60s after the Watts riots when they moved thousands of welfare recipients and gave them housing and welfare in Pomona. It went downhill really fast from then on. White flight took hold and these days whitey has to really watch his back there.
I can just imagine what the city council looks like these days so this idiocy is not surprising.
And you ass hats think $500 will attract a working class to Pomona. Can you even rent a garage for that amount?
Open the border to millions then force the tax payers to give them paychecks for nothing...
That’s on top of all the other tax paid gifts and prizes.
Stupido gringos...
The continual breathless advocacy reporting around this issue can only mean that the real dream is a guaranteed income for loyal journalists.
So suck the life blood of some to give to others chosen by the gooberment, how … socialist! I would be moving the hell out of Pomona really fast if I lived there, let them continue their redistribution of wealth without me.
Isn’t this why the pilgrims almost starved to death the first year the arrived at Plymouth Rock?
I feel so sorry for people who are stuck in these deep blue cities/States. I know that many are simply not able to move away for one reason or another, usually economics. I have family that is stuck in Illinois; they thankfully live in good areas with very low crime, but still, they would love to leave.
Narcisissma, Narcisissma is the pride of Pomona
Pomona, Pomona says she looks like me
But she will look like you when I’m set free
They’re trying this crap here in Houston but the Texas Supreme Court has stopped them. At least for now.
$500/month is just barely enough to get you hooked on government handouts, forever wanting more.
