A report by a Native American-led nonprofit group claims indigenous homelands were taken by Colorado, and the state reaped mountains of money through that action.

The report shares about the apparent “dispossession” of $1.7 trillion worth of the indigenous homelands by the state and the United States, according to an Associated Press (AP) article published Friday. The outlet noted the report was compiled by the Truth, Restoration, and Education Commission (TREC).

In addition, the report claims that Colorado gained nearly $550 million in mineral extraction from those homelands. The AP article continued:

You guys lost. Get over it. You’re beginning to sound like blacks who still whine and cry about slavery over 160 years after it was outlawed in this nation.

“Stolen from whom exactly?”

The natives famously claim to disavow the concept of land ownership. Therefore the land wasn’t stolen at all.

There were people crossing the Bering land bridge to live here long before the so called “Indians.

“Approximately 30,000 years ago, the Paleo-Indians, the ancestors of Native Americans, followed herds of animals from Siberia across Beringia, a land bridge connecting Asia and North America, into Alaska. By 8,000 B.C.E., these peoples had spread across North and South America.”

Thus, all “Native Americans” owe them reparations.

And as the white haired Native American said in Ancient Aliens when asked about the long history of his tribe in the American Southwest: “Where did your ancestors say they came from?” He pointed to the sky and said “Up in the sky.”

That was the one recounting the true story of the tribe telling of the certain number of stars in a constellation with one extra the scientists said was a myth. Until their improved astronomical instruments allowed them to confirm the extra star they had denied.

Let’s rewind history, until we get back to where no one could write, or keep any sort of records.

Right. All inhabitants of land took it by force from the previous inhabitants.

They are free to try and take it back by force - but trying that and failing carries the stiffest of penalties.

The land wasn’t worth much before the white settlers began to put it to productive uses beyond Buffalo hunting.
