Hunter Biden was found guilty of lying on a gun application by denying his drug use at the time. Trump reacted by voicing unexpected support for the younger Biden.
“It’s hard to blame him for wanting a gun, which is his God-given right under the 2nd Amendment,” Trump said in a statement, calling it the “best Amendment of them all.”"

Well according to the Bruen decision, the 4473 paperwork required for all firearm purchases from a dealer is unconstitutional.
If Trump is elected he should pardon Hunter Biden.......... as well as every single Jan 6 federal hostage.
Joe will pardon Hunter.
Trump’s campaign put out the proper response, which was in effect that this was only a distraction from the treasonous influence-selling of access to Joe to America’s worst enemies, but if Trump himself doesn’t say it that doesn’t register with the public at all.
He may want to be careful given the $2B that Jared bagged from the Saudis, however.
If this report is accurate, and that’s a big IF, then Trump might be sending a message to any Deep Staters thinking of coming in from the cold that Trump will have their backs.

What Hunter *should* have been tried for was a whole series of crimes which also involved his father. The charges against him notably circumscribed those activities.

The second amendment says “shall not be infringed”. It does NOT say you must fill out a form or otherwise obtain government permission to purchase, possess or carry a weapon.
He lied, but the form upon which he lied is invalid, a clear infringement. I could not have voted guilty.
He says he will not pardon him. He'll simply commute any sentence instead.
A pardon requires one thing...a valid conviction. None of the J sixers convictions are valid.
