President Biden demanded punishment for families who leave guns unlocked Tuesday — in his first public remarks since his son Hunter was convicted of three felonies for illegally owning a gun that another Biden family member tossed into a public dumpster.
“It’s time we establish universal background checks — and by the way, and require the safe storage of firearms,” the 81-year-old said at a pro-gun control conference blocks from the White House. “We should hold families responsible if they don’t provide those locks on those guns.”
Biden didn’t directly address the guilty verdict against his 54-year-old son while delivering the pre-scheduled speech to the group Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit founded by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

He just reads what is out in front of him or repeats what comes from the earpiece.
Pres Trump should have someone smuggle a device to scramble the frequency on his earpiece so he can’t get help

I think I see how this is playing out
Joe can claim: “my poor son is an addict, like so many Americans”
Dems can claim: “you see? No one is above the law”
DOJ can claim: “trust us, we investigate both parties without bias”
Meanwhile, every other crime of bribery, corruption, carelessness with confidential documents, selling access, pedophilia, etc... gets swept under the rug
Joe's words will be shown to have been the height of hubris and disingenuousness as Joe will pardon Hunter of these three convictions within the next nine months, leaving in place all gun-related convictions of everyone else in the US.
As strong as that force may have been for Delaware's citizens to let Hunter off the hook, it merely takes a hint of understanding how strong is Barry Soetoro and friends' desire to see Joe step away from the race so Barry can name the successor puppet.
Since he’s the head of his family, we should hold HIM accountable for his entire family’s crimes, INCLUDING HIS OWN.
