Florida's blanket restrictions on medical care for transgender children were ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge on Tuesday, striking down a key pillar of Gov. Ron DeSantis' platform.
In his ruling from Tallahassee, U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle invalidated a Florida health code rule and a new state law that prohibited Medicaid payments for puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. He found these bans violated federal laws, including the Affordable Care Act's prohibition on sex discrimination in healthcare.
"Florida has adopted a statute and rules that ban gender-affirming care for minors even when medically appropriate," Judge Hinkle wrote in his 105-page order. "The ban is unconstitutional."

Someone tell me which part of the Constitution authorizes Congress to pass laws regarding health-care for ‘transgender’ children? And when did laws like the ‘Affordable Care Act’ become a measure for what is or is not ‘Constitutional’?

I have to agree. These people are pushing this nation to an extreme state of national schizophrenia.

I remember when Jen Psaki was still at the White House , she warned States about passing laws to restrict transgender treatments. She said at the time we need to have gender-affirming care and this is the policy of the Biden Administration.
So there you have it. The Liberals are intent on forcing all states to provide this so-called gender affirming care.
Next I would not be surprised to see lawsuits over biological men in women’s sports. A number of states have passed laws such that participants in interscholastic sports must compete with those of the same biological sex.
Look for some Landmark ruling from a court at some point, which will indicate that biological men who play dress up as women, are to be treated the same as women in all ways, including Sports competition.

There is no such thing as “transgender” children. There are only children with many emotional illnesses, and it’s mostly due to the disintegration of the traditional family.

Sexual re-assignment for minors is what part of the Art 1 Sec 8 limits on Federal power?
