Ronald Reagan’s daughter: ‘There are a lot of Hunter Bidens in this world’

Patti Davis, the daughter of President Reagan, pointed to Hunter Biden’s ongoing trial as a symptom of all-too-common systemic drug addiction, looking less at its political impacts and more about what it says about the pressure of scrutiny and danger of illegal drugs.

“Hunter Biden’s legal case is, at its root, a story about the toxic, careless choices made by a drug addict,” she wrote in a New York Times op-ed Monday. “It’s about the fact that addicts weave tragedy into their own lives and into the lives of those around them. Addicts don’t think about other people; they think about themselves. And they lie — that’s how they supply their addiction.”

Biden, the president’s son, is on trial for gun charges, accused of illegally purchasing a handgun while addicted to drugs. The jury began deliberations late Monday, and the trial has seen a whirlwind of testimony and evidence recalling his drug addiction in salacious detail.

There is no reason for human evil. Only excuses.

Credit for that goes to Dean Koontz.

Sorry Patti, your croc tears are underwhelming.

Afterall, Joe Biden has said many times that Hunter is the smartest person he knows.

Its a fake, fake, fake narrative. So sad to see even Reagan’s daughter repeating it

Yes, many American families have addicted sons and daughters, who do self-destructive things

ONLY ONE FAMILY in America, the Bidens, who as Vice President, gave their addicted and destructive son the job of bag-man and bill collector, to handle $$ tens of millions from places like China, Ukraine, Russia, and of course - the USA

Besides the blatant corruption, what is especially dangerous, is that their addicted son and his brazen actions most certainly exposed themselves to compromise from the intel agencies of ALL the countries they had deals with.

Again - there are NOT a lot of Hunters in this world. Only one has the name “Biden.”

Ron Jr. is more annoying than Patti ever was, especially since Ron tends to get more press coverage.

There are a lot of drug addicts in this world. But not many of them rake in millions and are offered sweetheart plea deals due to their daddy’s connections and position.

Trump should announce that if he’s elected he will pardon Hunter because he’s a first time offender and would be eligible for the first step program. But he needs to keep a straight face.

Yes, there are lots of children lost to drugs, and Hunter Biden is not unique in that sense.

However, her statement is being exploited to deflect and distract from the Biden family’s rather unique history of political corruption.

Perversely, in spite of that corruption (and as a result of it), Joe Biden is unlawfully serving as the President of the United States, where he and the rest of his crime family are expected to deliver for the enemy heads of state and oligarchs who own them - lock, stock and barrel.

For Patti Davis and other to suggest that Hunter Biden’s corruption is no different than any other of the millions of poor souls lost to drugs - is a complete pile of horse doo-doo.

The idea that we let anyone in that disgusting family anywhere near the White House must have the Founders rolling in their graves.

And speaking of dead people - the 81 million Biden voters must be rolling in their graves too.

I ‘hear’ what she is saying, and I concur, having kids of my own I had to rescue off the streets of Houston. It’s tough. We all need to be responsible for our deeds and actions.

Agreed. I have a family member just like Hunter in some respects.

Patti’s right. I have a buddy and he and I have been close friends for 61 years. His son died in his mid thirties in about 2020. He had basically the same problems as Hunter. Namely, amphetamines’, cocaine, booze, beat up his wife, no work ethic, and so on. He’s now dead leaving an absolutely gorgeous daughter heart broke at 8 years old. He died after laying in a hospital bed for many weeks. In the weeks before his death, his heart had an ejection fraction of about 30%. He basically committed suicide by drugs (multiple illicit) and booze over a period of the last several years of his life.

Like Hunter, his family spoiled him to death. I have said many times what he needed was to go to jail a couple years. One would not likely work. But two might have.

Hopefully Judge Norieka will agree and Hunter MIGHT thus live a little longer. If he wants guys like me to EVER like him, he better go see Navy, give her a hug and apologize on his knees! Then arrange for regular monthly payments from some of the money he stole.

Have you seen her lately? We were channel surfing and saw her, and both said, “OH!” Garish and scary. DJTJr is gonna kick her to the curb, I think. She is an embarrassment.
