Moderna on Monday said its combination vaccine that targets both Covid-19 and the flu was more effective than existing standalone shots for those viruses in a late-stage trial.
Moderna, Pfizer and Novavax have said that combination shots will simplify how people can protect themselves against respiratory viruses that typically surge around the same time of the year. The added convenience is critical as fewer Americans roll up their sleeves to get vaccinated against Covid.

This, in the face of the CDC itself acknowledging the harm the covid “vaccines” have done! Unconscionable!
CNBC and Moderna?? Are you serious? Who in their right mind would believe anything that they say?
I plan on getting the shingles vaccine in the near future. I will ask if they are mixing it w/other vaccines. No more COVID shots for me. I had 3, I won’t have any more. It would be very deceitful of the pharmacist to not tell me of it was a combo shot.
After never questioning a vaccine in my life, I’m not done with them unless a truly virulent bug goes around — one that kills +20% of those infected — like smallpox.
I stay away from urgent care places. They know nothing and act like they know everything. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with those people.
For the most part I’ve been happy the handful of times I’ve used them.
One was really bad though. The “doctor” misdiagnosed” kidney stones as constipation.
I knew they were kidney stones and had never had them before.
Two Words: Underfunded Liabilities
If anyone “must” get flu shots due to bad health, make sure you ask very specifically for the one without the covid shot- they might not tell you if you don’t ask- might even want to get it in writing that the shot is a flu shot only-

Not only do we not trust doctors and the harmaceutical industry for our own health care, this house no longer trusts veterinarians, most of which here locally, have been bought out by national corporations. We stopped all vaccines for our giant breed dog, back in 2020. She’s now 12, well past the predicted life span (7-10 years) of the breed and still very strong. The down side is good luck finding a vet to treat simple issues, because she’s not up to date on her current regime of poison injections.
For dog owners, please do some research on canine vax issues. For instance, research “how long is rabies vaccine effective”. It isn’t known with certainty, yet it is required annually. Huh?
Not sure about that- sounds like they could be sued out of their jobs if they sneak the covid shot in if you state that you want only the flu shot. Maybe insist on written statement to the fact signed by the nurse-
Got a flu shot once and I had my upper shirt pulled down to expose the bicept for the shot- my shoulder was up near my ear- the nurse said “you look all tensed up, you don’t need to keep your shoulder that high” I responded “but if I don’t, how am I gonna hear the shot that got me?”
And, ideally, on death row.

The study compared the combination shot with an enhanced flu vaccine called Fluzone HD and Moderna’s currently licensed Covid shot, Spikevax, in one group of patients ages 65 and above. The trial also compared Moderna’s combination jab with a standard flu shot called Fluarix and Spikevax in another group of participants between the ages of 50 and 64.
In both age groups, a single dose of Moderna’s combination vaccine produced “statistically significantly higher” immune responses against three strains of influenza and the Covid omicron variant XBB.1.5.”
This reads as better immune response against 3 flu strains and Omicron XBB.1.5.
This was a Phase 3 test. Harm would be measured in Phase I and apparently they had none that would have prevented moving on to Phase II. I think FDA is the arbiter of Phases in clinical tests. Not sure.
You’re right, and there must be data on the efficacy of rabies vaccines by now. 20 years ago a group (Cornell vet college, I think) was doing titre testing on cats for length of immunity of the rabies vacs, and they were up to 9 years. Hope I remember correctly. My cats never got another one. Unnecessary.
When I envision the obliterating of the Deep State,companies like Moderna and Pfizer are obliterated too
I saw what the COVID vax did to my own family.
So no and hell NO.
I’ll never take a vax of any type again.
Me neither.
So a flu shot will probably cost 3x now ...
