President Biden wrapped up his five-day trip to France with a Sunday visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, where more than 2,200 U.S. soldiers were buried after fighting in World War I.
Biden laid a wreath at the headstones of U.S. soldiers in a solemn ceremony marking their sacrifice for their country.
In remarks to the press, Biden stressed the importance of alliances and, without mentioning former President Trump explicitly, drew a stark contrast with the former president, who famously skipped his visit to the same cemetery in 2018. Trump cited weather at the time, but subsequent reporting revealed Trump expressed disinterest in visiting the cemetery, about an hour outside Paris, calling the fallen soldiers “losers” and “suckers.” Trump denied those reports.

Trump didn’t skip the visit. The Secret Service advised against the helicopter trip due to bad weather. The Secret Service also advised against the 3 hour round trip to the cemetery, because of security concerns over their not having enough time to thoroughly clear, and secure the route, as well as possible traffic problems along the way, and back again. Even Chief of Staff John Kelly, and Mike Pompeo confirmed the bad weather, and the Secret Service’s decision at the time. They both took the long drive to the cemetery, and represented President Trump at the ceremony.

Trump would have been the US President there for the 80th anniversary commemorations, if Biden had not stolen the election.
I don’t believe Biden stole the election, the DNC did. They stole the debate, he was the worst one of them all, while they brushed Tulsi aside? Notice how they never quote the names of those making allegations, they just continue to repeat the allegation as if it’s true.
If the Hill cannot get the basic facts of a story correct— and the actual truth of the matter, then it has NO business repeating a LIE. For this claim is a Lie. A Lie substantiated as such by major people who were THERE at the time it supposedly occurred, includin National Security Advisor and Chief of the Presidential Protection detail of the Secret Service. The HILL should be SUED into non-existence for this kind of scrurrilous weasel like writing constant repetition of a proven LIE.

From what I had read at the time, Trump wasn’t allowed to go because of the weather. It wasn’t Trump’s decision.
