Making abortion a right will also unleash unforeseen consequences. Once abortion is a right, it must be available for all citizens. Just because an impregator cannot carry a baby, does not invalidate their new constitutional right. It will become a required accommodation facilitating men to exercise their new rights to abortion by forsaking parenthood, thereby avoiding lifelong financial responsibilities.
They needed to put these on the ballot in an off-year election! This will drive the left to the polls.

If the GOP would advocate European-style restrictions on abortion and treating MJ like booze they’d be a supermajority party for the next generation.
Many states have restricted when ballot propositions and referenda are on the ballet to only general elections now to prevent exactly that practice.
I’m in Michigan frequently. They have an abundance of weed sellers. I’ve never noticed the odor of it burning. Even in the seediest of cities. In other states, vape retailers are already in every strip mall. Even in rural areas. I don’t see much change.

The Dems got hold of the 2016 ballots in the red Michigan counties in the summer of 2018.
The blue counties told them they could have the ballots in January 2019 [We're TOO BIG and TOO BUSY].
Result?
Blue wave in the red counties - no blue wave in the blue counties.
