Dems ‘fear’ this possible Trump VP pick who ‘could spell the end for Biden’

The race to determine who will be Donald Trump’s running mate this November took a major step forward last week with the acceleration of vetting multiple potential candidates, but political insiders with deep knowledge of presidential campaigns say there is one possible name on the former president’s shortlist Democrats “fear” the most.

Trump’s campaign recently entered the next phase of the running mate search by requesting documents from several prospective contenders, including Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who has grown to be a staunch ally of the former president since running against him in the 2016 Republican presidential primaries.

“Rubio is a familiar face who has become one of the strongest voices in the Senate for the America First agenda, is excellent on TV, and can blast Biden effectively for his failed policies,” one top GOP strategist told Fox News Digital.

The electors of a state cannot vote for both the president and VP from their own state. Every other state can vote for two Floridians but not Florida.

Now here's an interesting scenario: Judge Merchan orders Trump to report to jail in New York quickly. Trump changed his residence back to New York to allow Rubio or DeSantis to be VP without the Florida elector problem. Trump wins narrowly driving the left even more insane and they try to say Trump cheated by changing his legal residence.

I think it’s either going to be Rubio or Tim Scott.

...I would suggest Harriet Hageman (R-Wyoming). She MAY be America’s answer to Margaret Thatcher.

Yes, that would be a great pick, although I don't know if she has the charisma or the ability to attract votes. I fought very hard for her on FR when W. Bush nominated her to the Supreme Court. So many here on FR fought against her and totally disparaged her. Sadly, she ultimately withdrew her nomination. If you've ever seen her on the Judiciary Committee, she's a fearless bulldog. Seeing her always makes me pine for what could have been with her on the SC.

And, instead of Hageman we got... Roberts.

Ugh!

I agree. While this isn’t a reflection on Sen. Rubio’s political mettle, he isn’t an Art. II, §1, Cl. 5 natural-born Citizen of the United States. As Republicans, we can’t turn our backs on the provisions of the Constitution when it becomes inconvenient even if the communist Demos do.

Secondly, Trump and Rubio live in the same state, as many have mentioned.

Thirdly, the Democrats are suggesting they intend to impeach President-elect Trump in 2025 should he win in November. President Trump is going to need all Republicans Senators to remain in the Senate.

For my money, I would suggest Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Allen West is Trump’s best VP pick. He is a Christian constitutional conservative, a combat veteran, a former Member of the US Congress from Florida, the Executive Director for The American Constitutional Rights Union, and former Texas GOP Chair, who now lives in Texas.

I’m not buying it either. Right now, the left is actively engaged in trashing the Jewish female pit bull from N.Y. The democrats are afraid of her and she will not take sh@t off the Palestinians, the deep state, Schumer OR Pelosi

Look at the button she’s wearing. She’d get Haley votes and maybe disgruntled Jewish votes who are not pleased with Biden’s pandering to Hamas and the fruckin’ UN.

Vivek is even more Trump than Trump is, might turn off undecided voters with his brashness. Friend can’t stand him. Secretary of State would be great place for him for several obvious reasons, foremost his brilliant, no-bullschtein approach to every problem. A great mind.

Why would she get Haley votes? Isn’t she significantly to the right of Trump?

Yes, he was born and lived his life until he was well into senior citizenship in New York City. He’s in no way from Florida. And he’s very much a New Yorker, so I don’t know why he moved to Florida, although plenty of New Yorkers do do that.

What do you think of Burgum, I wasn’t really familiar with him before he ran for President but from what I hear he is good friends with Melania and she likes him very much

No matter who Trump would pick as VP, running that person against any VP the Dems would pick, would be a no-brainer.
