Yes, that would be a great pick, although I don't know if she has the charisma or the ability to attract votes. I fought very hard for her on FR when W. Bush nominated her to the Supreme Court. So many here on FR fought against her and totally disparaged her. Sadly, she ultimately withdrew her nomination. If you've ever seen her on the Judiciary Committee, she's a fearless bulldog. Seeing her always makes me pine for what could have been with her on the SC.

I did not know that Hageman was considered by GWB for the Supreme Court. She is though really impressive.

My only articulable complaint about her is that she supported McCarthy right up until the last vote.

That said, nobody’s perfect, even my main man DJT.
