You are correct...I’m pushing that age and I find myself turning too quickly from the stove to the fridge or whatever and knowing it was the wrong thing to do...or getting out of bed too quickly...stop, sit on the side of the bed before moving off the bed...

Just found this on NY Post...

Those who say this is “fake” are beyond Insane.

There’s nothing fake about going up 250 miles.

But 238,000 miles to the moon and 238,000 miles back with little fuel, no navigational computers, snail 🐌 pace data rates, through the Van Allen belts, cosmic, and solar radiation with little or no shielding? LOL! Even Werner Von Braun said they couldn’t do it without refueling stations!

Which is why they 🎥 it terrestrially.

No. That is not what they did.

First moon landing: “Apollo 11 (July 16–24, 1969) was the American spaceflight that first landed humans on the Moon. Commander Neil Armstrong and Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:17 UTC, and Armstrong became the first person to step onto the Moon's surface six hours and 39 minutes later, on July 21 at 02:56 UTC. Aldrin joined him 19 minutes later, and they spent about two and a quarter hours together exploring the site they had named Tranquility Base upon landing. “

I know one of the astronauts the landed on the moon. Harrison “Jack” Schmitt in Apollo 17. He is not fake nor was that mission.

Have not seen him in many years, My wife and his mother were friends at Church. My wife worked (volunteer) in his run for reelection as US Senator. I have a lot of memorabilia from that Mission.

Never heard an explanation for the 6 hr. delay before their EVA.

Time in space and constant awareness. It probably gave them time to rest from long flight and it might have been an issue of placement of the lander with the right view for photographs. Space is black.
