And when it comes from a four-star admiral who commanded the entire United States Special Operations Command, you can bet that it carries some clout among those who are wielding power. For these reasons, McRaven’s comments merit close scrutiny.

And I tell folks look, can you lay down your rhetorical arms? Can we find a way to bridge the gap? And maybe its naïve on my part but what I see is every time Donald Trump does something wrong, then the left gloats about it, the right rants about it and it just begins to escalate. And we’ve got to find a way to deescalate this because the world is watching.”

In '67 I was in an Artillery OCS class at Ft Sill; we had a candidate who had been in Special Forces. He was depressed because, as a commissioned officer he would no longer be on an A-Team.
If that raid had been done right, bin Laden would have been captured, waterboarded for every scrap of info he had about his cohorts, peep walked, humiliated, etc.
Instead we had one helicopter disabled, the informant who helped us was essentially left for the Pakistanis to torture, a secret muslim-approved possible burial at sea, movie made to promote this guy’s future presidential run, and after that the US pretty much ended any serious effort against Islamic fanaticism, and began a war instead on free speech, blaming terrorism on anti-islam videos, etc.

An expert in training and raising falcons (birds) who was the contracted Chief Falconer for the House of Saud (The Saudi Royal Family). Parrott was hunting with falcons with Saudi royals in Iraq near the Iran border- claimed that the royals gestured to a site on the Iranian border saying “that is where Osama lives now protected by Iran. Bin Laden buried at sea, official says

American Forces Press ServiceOsama bin Laden received a Muslim ceremony as he was buried at sea, a senior defense official said here May 2.
The religious rites were performed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson in the North Arabian Sea, the official said, and occurred within 24 hours of the terrorist leader's death.
"Preparations for at-sea (burial) began at 1:10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and were completed at 2 a.m.," the official said.
The burial followed traditional Muslim burial customs, the official said, and bin Laden's body was washed and placed in a white sheet.
"The body was placed in a weighted bag. A military officer read prepared religious remarks, which were translated into Arabic by a native speaker," the official added.
Afterward, bin Laden's body was placed onto a flat board, which was then elevated upward on one side and the body slid off into the sea. more.... ( "Official United States Air Force Website" )
