As promised a few days ago, for people here to enjoy and appreciate. Had the privilege of visiting this person's library and museum last month in Simi Valley, CA and learn more about both the president and the man.

Thanks for posting. Great speech, well-delivered. Remember when we had a President who you could send to represent us in a foreign country, and you’d be proud of him?

Reagan: Best President EVER. I’m old. Still remember him. “Tear down this wall!”

OK to be fair Washington and Lincoln belong on that very short list of best Presidents.

Biden and Obama: worst PResidents ever. Carter, Johnson, Hayes, and Buchanan (sp?) don’t even come close to being as bad. Those two jerks have done and are still doing incalculable damage to the US and the world.

I was in Switzerland listening to that speech, oh to go back in time. I was 27 and would not mind a do-over.

Then there is Franklin Pierce who is often ranked among the lower rated Presidents.

I remember as a young man getting up early on the morning of June 6, 1984, and watching the Gipper’s speech from Point du Hoc. God, how we need that kind of leadership today in America.

Yup. But Obama and Biden beat all of them for most damage done to this once great nation.

Captain Reagan spent a total of about 9 years in uniform, his first 5 years was in the 1930s Horse Cavalry as a Lieutenant in the Reserves which I imagine was a pretty physical unit of horses and 1930s outdoor activity and camping when they were training. Cavalry was a real thing back then.
