Former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Texas recently praised the Constitution Party’s Randall Terry and Stephen Broden and called on supporters to financially support the ticket in airing television and radio ads.
According to a statement on the homepage of the Terry campaign’s official website, DeLay praises the campaign’s “3-D battle plan,” calling on his fellow Republicans to rally behind the ticket’s priorities. While he never explicitly mentions voting, DeLay states that he is financially supporting the ticket so that it can air a series of video and radio spots nationwide, urging others to do the same.
“The ‘3-D’ battle plan of the Terry/Broden campaign is political genius!” DeLay opines in the statement. “Every Republican should invest in this mission to DEFEND babies, DEFEAT Biden and DESTROY the Democrat Party. I assure you, when Biden loses, Trump WINS! Please join me in financially supporting this campaign, so these television ads can run nationwide.”
The ads, which are partially available through the site, touch upon a variety of contemporary social issues, as well as the Democratic Party’s relationship with various groups, and the Constitution Party itself. According to the campaign, these ads have garnered sizable financial support from Republican donors in an effort to influence key swing states and potentially impact the election against Joe Biden.

Where DeLay is concerned, I’m leery about a controlled opposition operation. I’ll have to study a little more.
🙃
Tom was the first GOP lawfare victim I am aware of.
He was a highly effective House whip, and the Democrats can’t have that. Some Tarrant county prosecutor went after him, got a conviction and drove him from office. He was able to win on appeal years later, but by then his political career was over.
Mission accomplished.
Nothing happened the prosecutor, of course.
They want to do the same thing to Trump, prevent him from running for President.
Tom Delay was an early victim of the law fare, as he was charged and prosecuted in a political case.
The pest control guy? No thank you.
Is the Conservative Party on the ballot??
I don't know.
I recall Montana's Constitution Partying running Ron Paul in 2008 instead of the official CP nominee.
Victim? No. He is part of a continued generation of failed Republicans, some perverts, some whatever. DeLay, Hastert, Boehner, Ryan, Jordan, Graham, Gowdy, etc.
It’s a missed opportunity, for Donald Trump to not talk to The Constitution Party.
