Biden showing signs of decline as pols, aides detail 81-year-old’s slipping cognitive fitness: ‘Not the same person’

President Biden’s cognitive decline is readily apparent and a concern for dozens who have interacted with the 81-year-old commander-in-chief in recent months, according to a shocking report Tuesday.

Some of the more the 45 Republican and Democratic lawmakers and staffers interviewed by the Wall Street Journal described a president who spoke so softly during meetings that participants struggled to understand him, others noted that Biden’s demeanor and grasp of policy details varied by the day and he frequently relied on notes and deferred to aides during conferences.

The new one will have the media narrative as “the new one” “the fresh one” and “What the voters yearned for, a fresh start and not Biden versus Trump.”

This is exactly what will unfold in the not distant future ...

The Dems will simply change the rules to suit them at that particular moment.
Been done countless times before.
Hell, one state switched from senator replacement by vote to appointment for one election. Then changed back a few years later in order to suit their needs.

I’m betting he drops out before being nominated at the convention. The party doesn’t want Kamala to replace him because she’s a sure loser. If he drops out after he is nominated and she’s on the ticket, they will have a problem passing over a black woman for someone who can possibly win. I think RFK will make a play to be their presidential nominee as will that idiot opportunist Newsom. Some Dem governor or senator not on the radar may eventually be their nominee

And what if later once voting starts, constitutionally and by law what happens between the first vote and election day?

You will notice there is nothing in the Constitution about "presidential elections", "voting for President", "parties", "conventions", "declaring", "running for President", "calling a state" or "conceding" - zero, zip, zilch, nada.

The subject of appointing the President took up a lot of time at the Convention, and the way it wound up, State Legislatures were made the main actors in the process, given the sole power to appoint Electors who then meet and elect a President.

Every state has rules about how this is done, there is no national rule or national authority, AND THAT IS ON PURPOSE.

So, if voting starts in a state and a candidate dies or resigns, it's up to that state legislature to decide what to do. They can count some of the votes, all of the votes, or none of the votes (according to their laws).

Joe will either have “an accident” that prevents him from running, a manufactured (injection?) “health” incident, or some other “mysterious” event.

Whoever has the Scalia pillow is probably still around...

I’m betting Senator Warner of Virginia replaces Biden before or at the convention when he drops out.

Did they just say...”Shocking Report?” Exactly who on earth would be shocked to hear that Biden is losing it mentally?

People do not recover from cognitive decline due to dementia. Cognitive impairment from stroke, yes to some degree, variable. But dementia as generally understood is progressive and irreversible given currently available treatment options. Biden today is the best he will ever be. He will only get worse.

ONLY 4%?? That in itself is shocking due to his abhorrent performance at running the country.

He has been out it for his entire presidency. But with an election coming they need to replace him. They are not sure they can conjure up enough vote fraud for him to win without being found out.

Biden could be getting stem cell therapy. It is not FDA-approved, but that doesn’t mean it is not happening.

[ONLY 4%?? That in itself is shocking due to his abhorrent performance at running the country.]

It’s called constituent service. Democrats give blacks, union members and other Democrat constituencies a lot of benefits.

He forced Detroit to give UAW employees massive pay raises. While company profits have nosedived, that’s no skin off the nose of the UAW membership. Does anyone seriously think the Federal government won’t bail Detroit out again and again, while zeroing out shareholders and creditors?

How about teacher unions? They infest public schools. Republicans are about school choice. School choice in FL has resulted in closures of public schools. The new private schools that are part of school choice don’t employ useless mouth public school teachers and administrators hired on the basis of racial quotas. But that goes against the interests of the current education work force, which wants high-paying no stress jobs.

Then there’s the big enchilada - the black vote. Democrats give blacks a lot of freebies Republicans do not. That’s why they get the black vote. Without quotas for school admissions, federal, state and private institutions, the black middle class would shrink massively and the vast majority of blacks would be clustered in entry level jobs. But a central plank of the GOP platform is the elimination of quotas.

Although black people are, on average, more socially conservative than white liberals, a significant break among black voters from the Democratic Party should be unlikely, because the Democratic Party treats black people collectively as an interest group it services, and the GOP does not.

Giving stuff to and doing stuff for black people is one of the main things the Democratic Party is about. Central to its messaging is that they do things for black people. That is why Joe Biden promised to nominate a black Supreme Court justice, and Gavin Newsom promised to fill a Senate vacancy with a black appointee.

The Republican Party’s messaging to white people isn’t as explicit, but the subtext is clear. They’re saying that the Democrats want to take stuff from “you,” their prospective voter who is probably white, and give it to “somebody else” who is probably black or an immigrant.

For black voters to switch in large numbers from the party that promises to give stuff to black people to the party that opposes giving stuff to black people, the Democrats have to err spectacularly. Basically, black people have to hate the stuff the Democrats are giving them.

One major thing the Democrats have been giving black people since 2020 is the Black Lives Matter agenda: Less policing, less traffic enforcement, less pretrial detention, less imprisonment, fewer police interactions with black men in areas where a lot of black people live.

It is possible that a lot of black people actually hate the Black Lives Matter agenda. It is possible that they are upset that people are driving sixty miles an hour down the street where their kids play. It is possible they blame Democrats for the rise in crime and disorder.

Black people bear the brunt of rising crime much more than white people do, so when white liberals believe crime is a conservative bogeyman, they think they’re being antiracist, but they’re actually dismissing the concerns of black people who are experiencing rising crime acutely.

The other thing that might be happening is that the GOP message that the Democrats are taking something from “you” and giving it to “somebody else” is appealing to black voters more than it has in previous cycles, because this time, the “somebody else” is migrants.

A lot of black voters live in large cities and a lot of migrants have flowed into those cities in the last couple of years, and black people in those cities are experiencing more negative impact from this than white liberals are.

The school gymnasium or the community center in a black neighborhood may have been turned into a shelter for migrants, or migrants may be congregating in a park in a predominantly black neighborhood. City programs that historically benefited black residents may be cut to defer funds to migrant services.

White liberals experience the migrants as, like, an unlicensed vendor selling cut mango in front of the art museum, and black voters experience the migrants as MS-13 selling fentanyl on their block.

I still have a hard time imagining that a lot of black voters are going to support Donald Trump, who, for better or worse, has successfully been tagged as a racist. But if black people are really fleeing Joe Biden, then it reveals a stunning disconnect, because the Biden administration has been more dedicated to “stuff for black people” than any Democratic administration in my lifetime.

If Biden is losing the support of black voters, then that means that crime and immigration are more important to black people than the BLM agenda, the appointment of black judges and executive branch officials, affirmative action and diversity policies, and student loan forgiveness.

“ They’re still talking about a virtual convention so that they can get Joe on the Ohio ballot. They seem to be in a rush to lock him in.”
**************************************************

A short time ago Ohio enacted a law that allows Biden to be on the Ohio ballot. Ironically it passed without DemocRAT support because the law also barred FOREIGN money supporting any candidates in Ohio. So they can now wait until their convention to nominate the puppet.

[Joe will either have “an accident” that prevents him from running]

1) Don’t let him be a chef for Obama and go paddling after midnight

2) Don’t let Hillary take him for a walk on a crisp Autumn day
