President Joe Biden attacked Donald Trump as a “convicted felon” in a vituperative campaign speech Monday night, declaring his “clearly unhinged” Republican rival somehow “snapped” in the wake of losing the 2020 election.
Biden claimed his moral high ground while addressing a campaign event at the private residence of a wealthy Democratic donor couple in Greenwich, Connecticut, embracing a carping assessment of his 2024 presidential rival, the Independent reports.
Eventually declaring, “This guy does not deserve to be president whether or not I’m running,” the octogenarian told his audience the nation’s justice is under threat:
Folks, the campaign entered uncharted territory last week. For the first time in American history, a former president that is a convicted felon is now seeking the office of the presidency.
But as disturbing as that is, more damaging is the all-out assault Donald Trump is making on the American system of justice.
Biden warned of Trump’s “all-out assault” on the justice system in revenge for his criminal conviction, saying it is “reckless and dangerous” for Trump and his conservative allies to say the verdict was rigged “just because they don’t like the outcome.”
The president then continued by outlining just what he says is at stake in this year’s race for the White House.
“The threat that Trump poses would be greater in a second term than it was in his first term,” he said.
“This isn’t the same Trump who got elected in 2016. He’s worse. Something snapped in this guy for real when he lost in 2020. He can’t accept he lost and it is literally driving him crazy.”

Until then, Trump was a moderate, who still mostly trusted the Fed.gov institutions and people which surrounded him, and imagined through the force of his personality, he could change American government.
Now I hope he realizes it can only be all-out war with the swamp.
Wow - utter projection from the Hillary and Obama camp who snapped after the 2016 election and subverted our nation.

I’ve seen a lot of clips of Trump at his rallies. I’m not seeing evidence of anything “snapping”. Frankly, I think Biden is projecting.

What “snapped” was that Trump entered into an NDA with a whore to protect his family, and then dared to run for office again ... something many politicians have done in one form or another ... very possibly including eff-Joe Biden as it’s clear he has done more than a few behind-the-curtain deals with a lot of whores throughout his career as a professional politician and as a Don in the course of his “family business”.
I understand his sister “calms him down” shall we say.

Biden simply using a litany of focused grouped very strong words to rev up the low info drones. None of the words have any relationship to reality, and his writers know it, however Biden hasn’t a clue to what he’s saying. Trained seals are gonna clap on cue as usual.
I wonder if Biden actually think he won? (He IS pretty stupid)
I bet the Dems are pi$$ed that they blew all their voter fraud on Biden. They will never be able to repeat that level of fraud (maybe) but that might actually make them more desperate.

Following Donald Trump’s conviction, Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer proclaimed, “The undeniable fact is Donald Trump went through the same legal process that all Americans go through, he was tried according to the facts and the law, and he was found guilty by a jury of his peers.”
Nothing could be further from the truth, and Schumer knows it because his brother’s law firm, branded the “Biden-Era N.Y. Power Center” by Bloomberg, spurred the indictment of the former president.
Sen. Schumer’s brother, Robert Schumer, is a partner in that law firm, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton, and Garrison. As I detailed Monday, Paul, Weiss granted three highly paid attorneys leaves of absence to join the Manhattan district attorney’s office in its targeting of Donald Trump.
