Ukraine recognizes both Israel and Palestine, so both states were invited to the Ukrainian 'peace summit', which will take place from June 15 to 16 in Switzerland. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the 'Dialogue - Shangri-La' conference in Singapore. According to him, Ukraine is ready to provide humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza

What’s especially interesting is that the source - Novaya Gazeta - lists different articles depending on whether the website language is Russian or English.
The article detailing Zelensky’s recognition of Palestine is not available in English, but only in Russian.
Curiouser and curiouser...
Support Israel even if only upon a moral right, while those who do not may only warrant support based upon strategic value.
Uke’s are persona non grata - Bibi will tell them to stuff and they NAZI regime to DC with their BS
Are those Bill Clinton’s, or are they, Bill Mahler’s Red Shoes?
Palestine is the name of a region. Not a nation. Not a people. Its the name of a region. The demographic group with the deepest history in that region are the Jews, but they are not the only people with history there.
There is one government in that region plus several war-lord like tribes at war with each other but also united in some genocidal mania against the Jewish people in Palestine. One might as well recognize the mafia or the KKK or BLM or some such as a government than recognize one of these war lord tribes as one.
One in which he has a Coke Plant that make white noise candy, but no body could tell der further the truth of that matter.
Damn man, those are fake boobs. Is your name Joe Biden Miss?
Okay, Ukraine can die, now that we know how the leadership feels.
What does Trump acting goofy with Giuliani have to do with this article?
There has never been a place called Palestine. The Romans made up that name. I call him Gazans.
>>>>Now THIS will be an interesting one: will the greater geopolitical preference for Israel on FR be the last straw that causes the Zeepers to drop their support for Ukraine, now that Zelensky has dared to speak of delivering aid to the Palestinians?<<<<
Never happen. Zeepers will continue to serve as the Dancing Queen’s Useful Idiots no matter what he does.
They’re either paid instigators posting on FR to disrupt this site or they’re so stupid they don’t know their arse from a hole in the ground.
Thanks Ferris.

No, most of “our” ZEEPERS are, IMHO, purely PRO-UKRAINE ZEALOTS. Nothing will deter these zealots from doing everything in their power to engender support for Ukraine and hatred for Russians.
There are a handful, particularly among the NOOBS, who I strongly suspect are Ukrainian paid trolls who will move on to something else when the flow of money stops,
They’re either paid instigators posting on FR to disrupt this site or they’re so stupid they don’t know their arse from a hole in the ground.
You’re correct. I remember the zeepers’ behavior after the 10/7 terrorist attacks. They spammed and swarmed this site even more than usual with countless threads about Ukraine, in an obvious attempt to keep the focus on them instead of on Israel who was freshly reeling from the attacks.
They even swarmed threads about Israel to yap about Ukraine. It was disgusting to behold.
Now I really hate him.
Ukraine recognizes both Israel and Palestine....
So does Russia and Belarus, among the 143 nations that do.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_recognition_of_the_State_of_Palestine
As of May 2024, the State of Palestine is recognized as a sovereign state by 143 of the 193 member states of the United Nations. It has been a non-member observer state of the United Nations General Assembly since November 2012.
The most recent nations to recognize the State of Palestine are Ireland, Norway and Spain.
Ukrainian recognition dates to 19 November 1988. Recognition extended as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, of which Ukraine is the legal successor. The modern republic continues all "rights and duties pursuant to international agreements of Union SSR which do not contradict the Constitution of Ukraine and interests of the Republic".
Also:
On 29 November 2012, in a 138–9 vote (with 41 abstaining) General Assembly resolution 67/19 passed, upgrading Palestine to "non-member observer state" status in the United Nations. The new status equated Palestine's with that of the Holy See. The change in status was described by The Independent as "de facto recognition of the sovereign state of Palestine". Voting "no" were Israel, Canada, the Czech Republic, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Panama and the United States.[...]
The UN has, after the resolution was passed, permitted Palestine to title its representative office to the UN as "The Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine to the United Nations", seen by many as a reflection of the UN's de facto position of recognizing the State of Palestine's sovereignty under international law, and Palestine started to re-title its name accordingly on postal stamps, official documents and passports. The Palestinian authorities also instructed its diplomats to officially represent the "State of Palestine", as opposed to the "Palestine National Authority". Additionally, on 17 December 2012, UN Chief of Protocol Yeocheol Yoon decided that "the designation of "State of Palestine" shall be used by the Secretariat in all official United Nations documents", recognizing the "State of Palestine" as the official name of the Palestinian nation.
Zelensky has no money. Humanitarian aid to the state of Palestine will have to be added to the next aid package.
Apparently Rudy doesn’t like to be motorboated in public. But who does? :)
