Sentencing isn't until July 11 and Trump cannot appeal to the state before then. If he tries some kind of jail, house arrest, or travel restriction, Trump might seek immediate relief from the state or US courts, but what if he plays safe, confirms the conviction and gives him a simple fine and probation? That's hard to claim urgency in the courts.
I think it is better for Trump to wrap himself in the injustice of twice impeached, now a felon by the Dems and play it for all it is worth. He's good at that. Besides, have those two impeachments adversely impacted him at all?

Trump should start selling T shirts that say “PROUD FELON” makes the words convicted felon not mean anything anymore if Trump makes money off of it

Trump is definitely going to be giving his acceptance speech from a NY prison. Not a country worth fighting for. The entire military should put down their arms.

election interference. if not settled quickly it will continue to damage the candidate.

He’s not a felon. He’s a justice impacted individual.

This is much worse. Felons can’t vote in many States, no guns, no travel outside of New York (?), issues with getting security clearances etc. States and the Feds treat a felon much diffetent than an impeached President.
