What Democrat Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is saying, while trying not to say, is that Boston is circling the drain. Cities in the United States outlived their purpose a century ago.
Like other cities removing certain crimes from prosecution, Boston doesn't have sufficient assistant prosecutors, public defenders, nor money to pay them nor to house the number of criminals they have.
Expect to see more businesses close or relocate, and commercial vacancies get even worse.
The alarm bell has already sounded. She's just giving the cover stories as to why more criminals will be on the street.
