Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, has warned of “nuclear escalation” in response to Nato governments stepping up support for Ukraine, with France suggesting troops could be deployed by member nations to Ukraine in just days.
Mr Lavrov told Russian state media on Thursday that planned tactical nuclear exercises with Belarus should “sensitise” Ukraine’s allies to the risk of “catastrophic consequences of further advancement on the ladder of nuclear escalation”.

Yeah... uh false. Norway has bolstered its borders. But no - no Norwegian troops in Ukraine (or any other NATO “troops” beyond a handful of advisors and a weapons training crews.
Ukraine isn’t even a member of NATO. NATO has been toying with Ukraine since the 2008 NATO meeting in Bucharest. NATO told Ukraine then they would soon become a member nation, but never moved on that pledge. Fast-foward to 2024, Sweden was whisked right in, and suddenly, Ukraine is important to NATO, to the point they want to use it to start WWIII. What a bunch of hogwash.

It will start with “NATO” countries stepping in unilaterally, like France for instance. If the tide doesnt turn then, then NATO will step in to ‘save’ its member (s). Id prefer this never happen but given the track record of the west they rarely see a war they dont like.
