How hard is it to lower inflation when your policies ran it up to 9% in the first place. Joe/Jill are still trying to sell the lie that inflation was 9% when he took office. Why hasn't the MSM stopped carrying their water and state that it was 1.4% when he took office? The GOP is so gutless they won't do, so who will??
I use the service at Walmart that has them gather your groceries for you, then you go pick them up.
In the past few weeks, they have changed a few of their on-line features. They are now offering cyber-coupons on some things, and will also show you what you’ve saved shopping with them, versus a competitor. (I also shop at my local Mom & Pop Grocery store - they have some really good Loss Leader sales each week.)
For me? I’ve bought the same items each week for years on end. They’re NOW telling me I’m ‘saving’ $1-2 each week...though my bill is almost DOUBLE what it used to be for the same items!

Corporate McDonald’s hasn’t opened up a store in decades. They now sell franchises. If the profit margin is not high enough, then they can’t sell franchises. If the corporate office dictates that the franchises cut prices, then many of them won’t make that profit margin and will shut down.

Just before the election, for a few weeks, they will lower their prices, economic indicators will turn rosy, and suddenly it will be morning in America, resulting in a Biden landslide. They can raise prices after the election. Folks, when we’ve lost the institutions, we’ve lost everything.

I hate Democrats who blame “corporate greed.” In competitive markets, such a thing is impossible.
But, the biggest and most greedy organization on the planet is the US federal government. There is no competition and thus there are no checks on its growth. If they cannot collect enough taxes at gunpoint, they just print more money. There is no amount of avarice too large for fedzilla. It will consume us all.

The only place where prices are falling are most stocks in general...the prices are collapsing because investors know the whole thing is about to fall apart.
