The Trump trial is chock full of on-purpose reversible errors. The chance that any conviction would be upheld on appeal is zero, but the idea is to get a conviction for political reasons, and not care about the inevitable reversal.
There’s been dozens of “reversible errors” from the bench in the trial - the point isn’t to get a conviction that withstands appeal, it’s to get a conviction for anything in order to hand a fig leaf to swampy DC Republicrats to turn against Trump.
This election isn’t Democrat vs Republican or left versus right, it’s DC vs America.
