So a dead misdemeanor for falsifying business records was zapped back into life by alleging that under NY election law 17-152 it was done to influence the election by the unlawful means of falsification of business records. It is so circular as to produce vertigo. So the jury finds some documents were falsified to use the unlawful means of falsifying other documents. That is only one of three possible crimes and the jury does not have to agree on which was the basis for their conviction.
On the charge of whatever the heck this is, we the jury find the defendant, Donald John Trump, GUILTY!!!
He is guilty of transgressing The Unwritten Law.

This will be overturned on appeal after the election but Merchan does not care because he wanted to deliver the guilty verdict to Biden so he could use it before the election. Mark Levin says the only way to get it potentially overturned BEFORE the election is to file for a writ of certiorari directly with the US Supreme Court alleging that Merchan’s misdirection was for purposes of affecting a national election. They would argue this is not just any case but so important nationally and the reversible error so apparent that an expedited appeal directly to the SC is required. No chance they would be granted the writ for review if it was controlled by Dems. But the 6 Republicans on the court have been accepting other lawfare case issues for appeal and ruled positively on them
In other words, the accusation is evidence of a crime. Good 15th century witch-hunting prosecution.
Back then, they had an unique way of assessing guilt of being a witch. The woman was tied up in a certain fashion and thrown in a pond. If the woman sank and drown, she was innocent. If she floated she was burned at the stake.
The case won’t last two minutes in appellate court, but the media and democrats will ride it 24/7 until it is overturned.
The New York judicial system might get back to it in about two years.

The real purpose of all this (besides get Trump) is to set it up that Trump looks absolutly guilty of something. And then WHEN the Supreme Court actually does the right thing they will use it as an excuse to either bypass the Supreme Court or remove those who disagree and replace them with quislings.

If some jurors believe that Trump falsified business documents solely to cover up a tax crime, while others believe that he falsified business documents solely to cover up an election crime, the jury can still convict Trump on the felony-level falsifying-documents charges, despite disagreeing on the predicate crimes.
The verdict sheet is the only hard-copy document the jurors will have with them in the deliberations room. It instructs them to check “Not Guilty” or “Guilty” on each of 34 counts of a single charge: falsifying business records in the first degree.
The judge told jurors that they could not take a written copy of the charge with them to the deliberations room.
