Sotomayor admits some Supreme Court decisions have driven her to tears

Justice Sonia Sotomayor reflected Friday on her time on the Supreme Court, admitting that some of the high court’s decisions have driven her to tears.

“There are days that I’ve come to my office after an announcement of a case and closed my door and cried,” Sotomayor said Friday at an event honoring her at Harvard University.

“There have been those days. And there likely will be more,” she added in the speech, per the The New York Times.

The Harvard event was held as the Supreme Court heads toward the last several weeks of the term. The court is expected to deliver opinions on several high-profile cases, including one determining whether former President Trump should be immune from prosecution for the charges against him for allegedly working to overturn the 2020 election, and another concerning the legality of abortion pills such as mifepristone.

That idiot.

She is known as the justice who cites the fewest legal precedents and critics say she has her biased mind made up before hearing cases and just want to force her personal prejudices onto all of us.

Hey Sonya, stick to ruling on the side of the Constitution and then either get over it or quit.

Shame on the Senate for confirming this unqualified, emotionally driven activist. She and Kenjati Brown Jackson are the definitions of DEI (Didn’t Earn It).

Women should not be in any leadership roles I’m sorry.

You mean that they should be in child-bearing roles that they are equipped for?

That’s because she is an agenda-driven ideologue who has no business on the court.

What is holding her back from resigning immediately? Obviously she is well above her intellectual and emotional grade. How the senate can approve such an incompetent DEI person is beyond me.

The law is not made up of emotions. If emotions are to beused, then she should have become a grief counseller and not a judge. The law is based upon facts and determinations of the people and the judes are supposed to parallel those facts. If they aren’t then they are creating law at the bench not by the people.

If she had made the right judgements and right decisions, she wouldn’t have any regrets and then cried about them.

Did she decide against Roe v Wade, or did she vote to keep abortions ‘legal’? Voting for abortions is against God’s will, and any judgements made against Him should make people cry. But, I bet she voted with Obama and Biden and most democrats. Those are sinful votes.

So the Wise Latina had a crying jag? There's no crying in the Supreme Court, chica baby.

She really needs an insulin pump and a candy bar. Those insulin swings are eating her up, the way she eats a Kit-Kat bar.

Could he do any worse than that dumb ass? ANY judge in any court that’s deciding cases based on their emotions and how it might make a person or persons feel, doesn’t belong judging anyone or any case. The law is supreme, not emotions or empathy.
