I am a big fan of libertarianism, small L, Libertarians, not so much. They are for abortion, drugs, gay marriage, I think they are closer to the Democrats, but if they’ll vote for Trump, go for it.
There are more than enough nuts in that group. I remember one year they took over the Maine Republican convention, and they turned it into a clown show.
While I am for liberty, and like the idea of libertarianism, personally I steer clear of that crowd.

Sin must be controlled by society, hopefully more like a Christian society than a Islamic society.
You will notice Islam has stricter rules regarding sin than our society does but that does not make them better or holier.
One can be libertarian without being liberal - I suspect this describes you.
An argument can be made that sin destroys society.
Islam is a sin based faith, a Christian could not practice it.
As we have seen from California and other states and cities that eventually become liberal, and see from rinos, is that conservatism cannot survive with social liberals, regardless of which party they belong to.
The left eventually takes over from social liberal republicans, libertarianism cannot exist because the small handful of conservative aspects cannot exist alongside the sweeping and all encompassing social liberal aspects, not to mention the lack of a military and borders which makes it all moot.
