Nobody in the Federal government issued any lockdown orders in 2020 that violated anyone’s constitutional rights.
Only in blue states and counties, unless of course it was a "fiery but mostly peaceful" protest. State Health Departments are the power center for outbreaks as are County Health Departments.(too powerful really) Then there's blue cities who do whatever they want because they're commies.
Fauci recommended the BS but here in rural flyover country, we don't listen to people in DC much. We were somewhat back to normal in two weeks(to flatten the curve). That's about all it took for us to see the BS.
My covid unvaccinated wife worked at a nursing home that takes medicare. As per fedgov, required to take the jab. As per MO Health, religious exemptions accepted. The company accepted every single request for religious exemption, even the lamely worded version she wrote. They offered the jab to residents and one old woman is quoted as saying "you can keep that shit away from me".
Most everyone ignored the recommendations. We talked within 6 foot of each other, shook hands at the entrance to every chain store. Walmart workers took their breaks out by the entrance, pulled the mask down and chatted with the locals they knew.(peaceful noncompliance - freedom of assembly) Kids only missed 6 weeks of school.
Trump and/or fedgov didn't do that to you. YOUR blue ass commie state/county did that to you and yet you remain. JFK Jr at heart is a blue ass commie.
2nd amendment? Gone. Can I drive a full size pickup truck just because I want to? NO, you'll kill the planet. Can I heat my house with a wood stove with trees cut from my land? NO, you'll kill the planet.
Trump was also the first to start all of the eviction moratorium lawlessness. That trickled down to the states. It destroyed a lot to good landlords.
But I have to accept the good with bad in this case. And I will of course be voting for him.
