It really can’t be Rubio unless he or Trump changes their state of residence... due to the rule about no state’s electors being allowed to vote for 2 of their own residents for Pres/VP.
Trump still have a place in NJ? I can’t seem him returning to New York.
He can change his residence to NJ for 5 minutes and then change it back after he wins.
I tried to find that rule and could not. Can you share?
As I understand it, the electors could all vote for Trump and still be valid towards the 270 number.
It’s just that the VP electoral votes would not apply. So, no big deal.
