President Joe Biden appeared to struggle to deliver cogent thoughts during his press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto on Thursday, raising concerns about his fitness for office.
The awkwardness of the press conference was the latest in a series of public events in which Biden struggled to deliver remarks without gaffes. Aides to Biden corrected nine gaffes on a transcript of a speech he delivered on Sunday.
During Thursday’s press conference, Biden repeatedly answered questions by reading long quotes from notes hidden behind the lectern.
He also called Vice President Kamala Harris the president. “Our nation’s first black vice president, President Kamala Harris,” he said.

The way Biden is declining, I give the debates maybe a 50% chance of happening. Biden’s people could just say that Biden has decided not to debate because of Trump’s racist remarks.
Of course there are no racist remarks. No matter. The mainstream media would applaud anyway.
I’ll bet Jo Pedo told the Kenyans about their president, “I mean you got the first mainstream African American (all liberals are taught in college to refer to Africans in Africa as African Americans.) who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”

My local paper - the Seattle Times - ignores Biden’s incessant gaffes and stumbles, but they’ve been making a big issue over the claim that Trump might have nodded off in his New York trial.

There will be no debates. Biden will use the Manhattan conviction as an excuse to bow out. They already have the speech written. A convicted felon has no place on a stage with a sitting President. Count on it
