Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY) said Thursday on CNN’s “The Lead” that former President Donald Trump is wasting time in New York, which is “solidly behind Joe Biden,” while the president is “out their winning over the rest of the battleground states.”
Host Jake Tapper said, “So Donald Trump, former President Trump, he’s holding an event shortly in the Bronx in an effort to attract voters of color, Latinos and African-Americans. Historically, a loyal voting block for Democrats, especially African-Americans but the truth is this is, this is a sport, this is a politics of margins. What more to Democrats need to do to solidify and mobilize their base?”

Yes the fact that she had to react by minimizing his appeal, is a sign of anxiety and distress on her part. Trump does have them worried, and rightfully so.

Having watched the entire Bronx Rally, you could feel the emotion among the crowd. They like Trump, they feel related to him and trust him. That Trump crowd will not be quiet and will become cheerleaders for Trump. The Bronx may well go red in November.
It gave the folks in the Bronx to socialize with Trump supporters AND feel the LOVE not racism or hatred as they have been told for years now!! It is VERY IMPORTANT to get into these communities WITH these patriots to SHOW THE PEOPLE the utter LIES they are being told about us and Trump!!
I watched that rally, and if there were any doubt about Trump’s appeal to New Yorkers, it was certainly not wasted effort.
Donald J. Trump may not win every district in New York State, but he can certainly pull along along a lot of Congressional candidates, which will inevitably change the complexion of New York State. And the rest of the United States.
DA BRAGG and AG Letitia James have opened a can of worms they may not be able to close.

Trump needs to concentrate on obtaining the majority electoral college vote, not the “popular vote”, in order to win.
On the other hand, there is some possibility that viewed from outside NY, it may boost the momentum for Trump.
