My now ruined hometown, was really once THE very best place there was; warts and all, since no place is "perfect".

When I was 11, my best friend and I would sometimes take the bus to the Bronx Zoo...alone. It was safe, back then.

Was it the B20 bus? I used to take that to Fordham from West Farms Sq where I got off the Q44
from Main St Flushing.
