Now It’s like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under.

My great great grandparents got off the boat at CASTLE GARDEN, went into Manhattan and we all stayed. But then, as an adult, my own family and I moved, but kept going back to see friends and family and to just BE in NYC again.

Fortunately for him, we were able to take our grandson into Manhattan, before it was utterly destroyed, but no way would we take him these past few years, when he visited us. And he turned 18 this year. That's a far cry from the freedom I had, at 11 !
