In an affidavit released Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee, IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley has come forward with information that the CIA instructed the Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for Delaware, Lesley Wolf, to block an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) team investigating Hunter Biden from using his benefactor, Kevin Morris, as a witness.
Shapley, the IRS Criminal Division’s lead investigator, was overseeing an inquiry into Biden in August 2021 when Wolf informed him that she and DOJ Tax Attorney Jack Morgan had been summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
Wolf, Morgan, and the CIA discussed Hunter Biden’s associate and benefactor, Kevin Morris, according to Shapley’s declaration.
Shapley and his team were considering utilizing Morris as a witness in their case against Biden, but Wolf apparently ruled it out.
“AUSA Wolf stated that they were provided a classified briefing in relation to Mr. Morris and as a result we could no longer pursue him as a witness,” Shapley stated.

Morris has been a big donor to Biden, purchasing 11 of his paintings and lending him at least $5 million to cover tax bills and personal costs, Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer said in a January news release.
In January, Morris provided a deposition to Congress about his relationship to Hunter Biden.
In his deposition, he claimed he was “like a general counsel” in Hunter Biden’s “virtual corporation.”

Is there ANYTHING they can’t do and get away with? Everyone knows the CIA can’t get involved in domestic affairs/politics and yet, they thumb their nose at the American public and say, “Catch us if you can.” Then when they’re caught - NOTHING comes of it!
I thought that was probably the guy who appeared with him each time he had to go to a congressional hearing or court. I looked him up - Yep - that’s the guy. Wore a crazy patterned sport coat to one hearing...he’s the one who sat beside him in one hearing and motioned to him to get up and walk out. Hard to remember occasions and details but that is the creep and he’s an attorney, I believe. We’re bombarded with too much of this junk. Will we ever see a normal day/week/month/year again?
The CIA did such wonders in getting us involved in Iraq based on dangerous and stupid lies and conclusions that killed hundreds of thousands. Having been so successful overseas, they now bring their “expertise” home where its use is supposedly unlawful. They have no right to “instruct” domestic judicial authorities to do anything.

When the Hunter/Morris relationship began, Morris was playing the role of loyal Democratic donor, an activist who showed up at fund-raisers.
He was introduced to Hunter at a 2019 Joe Biden political fundraiser. Soon after......almost as if it was pre-planned......Morris was giving Hunter legal advice AND copious amounts of money, including paying off Hunter’s long-delinquent taxes (before criminal charges were filed).
The Morris money also included paying for Hunter’s lavish lifestyle.......perhaps even Hunter’s coke addiction?
The wily Morris may be most eager to avoid the label “Democratic donor” because the Hunter payments could be viewed as an “unreported campaign donation to Joe Biden.”
Most auspiciously, Morris was brought into the Biden domain during Joe Biden’s campaign for president.
On February 7, 2020, Morris bellyached how paying Hunter’s taxes was a “considerable risk personally and politically.”
Was this a veiled message to Joe Biden, Morris calling for help?
Morris seems to have resolved his “political liability” of paying off Hunter’s taxes, now calling it a “loan.”
Morris’ millions are now on the table as “loans” because, if they are actually gifts, they could create a new tax problem for Hunter ......having to declare such “gifts” to the IRS.
The Morris “loans” would continue. Morris insists that it was all standard “loan” stuff. Except he is not a bank. He was repeatedly referring to Hunter as his “client.”
