Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on Wednesday appeared to back allowing Ukraine to use American-provided weapons to strike Russia or Russian-controlled territory.

One reporter asked Johnson about a House Intelligence Committee letter calling on the Biden administration to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with American-supplied weapons.

The letter stipulates that this would allow Ukraine to strike “Russian-controlled territory” as well as Russian territory and represents a significant escalation in America’s seemingly endless proxy war against Russia.

They revolted against Communism and won... They can do the same against Putinism.

Except that Putin's popularity has increased since the beginning of this conflict. But you keep watching the MSM and dreaming of victory.

I wonder if Johnson backs fighting a nuclear war with Russia?

Johnson doesn’t deserve to keep his seat, let alone remain Speaker. He’s completely compromised.

This is a little late. There have been a number of attacks against Russian held areas to include ships, airbases, border checkpoints, villages, industrial complexes, and fuel depots over the last few years. Trying to write them off in a combat situation is stupid. And saying your side didn’t hit the other side is dishonest. Gimme a break.

I would guess the optimal response would be hypersonic missiles provided to ISIS K and transported to Mexico to launch from there. Yeah, the same ISIS K that our MSM jumped to declare the culprit in Moscow a few months ago, with all of them agreeing in a matter of minutes, after someone called them all and said they were ISIS K and they did it.

The whole point is to prevent this from becoming a world war.

Yes, so why shouldn't Russia use their weapons to attack the United States or our allies?

Not calling you stupid, but, that's a stupid question.

Russia knows there is a big difference between the U.S. and Ukraine. Ukraine is a much smaller target, and right next to Russia.

Ukraine doesn't have nuclear weapons and the Ukraine military is much smaller, so, when it comes to targets, Ukraine seemed to be a simple takeover. The U.S. is not so simple and Russia would be suicidal to go against the U.S. or its allies. A bully only picks on the smaller targets and easier targets. The U.S. has a much bigger military than Russia, and the U.S. has an economy at least 10 times bigger than Russia, where a strong economy is necessary to support any war effort.

So, was I right in calling your question, stupid?

If Ukraine begins using US weapons to hit targets inside Russia, Putin will obliterate Kiev and that will be the end of the war.

The whole point, and more real point, is that, allowing Russia to take Ukraine will definitely bring on WWIII, perhaps not immediately, but soon after.

Shortsightedness has brought on a lot more wars than meeting the danger immediately.

Think again.

Your way of thinking about what Russia would do, is totally wrong. What would really happen if Russia does 'obliterate' Ukraine, is that, Russia would have a much bigger problem in its hands, where all of Europe would get involved against Russia, with the U.S. joining the fight.

Not a big picture thinker, are you?

Your implication/suggestion that Ukraine was a ‘target’/simple takeover is stupid.

Wow, Russia is firing US rockets into Ukraine?! Well, then I suppose your two-way street scenario makes sense.

Except, they’re Russian rockets aren’t they? Don’t you think that makes a big difference? Ukraine can fire their own rockets into Russia until the cows come home as far as I’m concerned. But if they’re US arms, then let’s hold off on starting WWIII just to keep the deep state’s graft going in Ukraine, please.
