I fully understand the concept of how the Congress is made up.

They have plenty of control over the budget, the House has full control of the budget process.

Did the Republican Congress vote for FISA reauthorization ??

Dod the Republican Congress give up multiple Omnibus Spending packages when the promised not to.

Did the Congress give up on Border security and pass more money for Ukraine ??

That’s just a short list of things the Republicans promised if they had control of the House and didn’t follow thru on.

It’s a false argument to say they have no control at all.

1 out of 3, BUT all spending originates from the House of Representatives. That means if and when we get an actual Republican Speaker of the House who loves America more than he loves payoffs and illegals, the Republicans control spending.

Control of the House is a big deal if you have the will to use the power of the purse and stick together. Look what Pelosi did with a slim majority. One out of three can stop a President’s agenda.

The GOP acts like a minority even when they have majority. Conversely, the Dems act like they have the majority when in the minority.

Schumer has a two vote majority in the Senate and governs like he has a mandate.
