I fully understand the concept of how the Congress is made up.
They have plenty of control over the budget, the House has full control of the budget process.
Did the Republican Congress vote for FISA reauthorization ??

Did the Congress give up on Border security and pass more money for Ukraine ??
That’s just a short list of things the Republicans promised if they had control of the House and didn’t follow thru on.
It’s a false argument to say they have no control at all.
Having control and doing the right thing are two different things.
You think you can shut down the government with no consequences.
