Fani Willis on Tuesday won the Democratic primary in Georgia for her Fulton County District Attorney seat, which she has held since 2020.
Willis won with 89 percent of the vote at the time the Associated Press called the race. Polls closed at 7 p.m. ET and the AP called the race shortly before 7:40 p.m. The result came as Willis seeks to continue her election interference case against former President Donald Trump.
Willis indicted Trump and several other co-defendants for charges relating to the 2020 presidential election results in the state and violations of the state's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Don’t know. 1 for sure.
Her constituents are just like her.
Maybe, but it didn’t.
In the 2020 general election, she ran unopposed and got 431,050 votes. For comparison, in the 2020 general election for President in Fulton County, the total votes cast were 524,659, with 381,114 going to Joe Biden.
In summary, Willis got more votes in 2020 than Biden got in Fulton County. The total turnout in yesterday's primary was 20.7% of the 2020 Fulton County general turnout.

Democrats don’t change their vote. Goes with the psychology of mobs. From William Bernstein’s Delusions of Crowds
“People do not deploy the powerful human intellect to dispassionately analyze the world, but rather to rationalize how the facts conform to their emotionally derived preconceptions. Over the past several decades, psychologists have accumulated experimental data that dissect the human preference of rationalization over rationality. When presented with facts and data that contradict our deeply held beliefs, we generally do not reconsider and alter those beliefs appropriately. [Instead] we avoid contrary facts and data, and when we cannot avoid them, our erroneous assessments will occasionally even harden and, yet more amazingly, make us more likely to proselytize them. In short, human ‘rationality’ constitutes a fragile lid perilously balanced on the bubbling cauldron of artifice and self-delusion.”
“Low IQ, low info voters in Georgia. I could never live in that God forsaken Marxist state of corruption.”
Chill. This was a Democrat primary in a heavily Democrat county. Her opponent was a sacrificial lamb with no chance to win. Fulton County is not representative of the entire state, anymore than, say, Orange County is representative of the state of North Carolina.
Political corrupt, clueless, and racist. That’s how American cities became trash.
That news does improve my opinion of Georgia but Fulton County has to be a total cesspool.
Dare I ask…wouldn’t that be racist?
“Fulton County has to be a total cesspool”
It is, indeed.
