With 34 charges, there is no question that they will ‘create’ at least one.

But 34 crimes are built on a felony, which has not been identified yet.

I know. They are charging Trump with "furthering another crime" by falsifying business records. The "falsifying the business records" charge is expired, so another crime is necessary to rejuvenate the business records.

Bragg is now saying that conspiracy is not the other crime. He won't say what the other crime is, but he'll keep saying what it's not to keep it out of the jury instructions.

I've said before, the "further crime" is all innuendo; he wants the jury to assume whatever other crime they need to reach a guilty verdict because President Trump MUST be guilty of SOMETHING.

It can’t be in regard to elections. They have no standing.

If that jury does not convict him of ‘something’, their lives will be destroyed!

The 34 counts are copy-and-paste. Seen one, seen ‘em all. The dumbest jury would be hard pressed to arrive at different verdicts over homogenous charges.

If the 2 attorney go with guilty, their legal status will be in the toilet.

Your operative words are ‘dumbest jury’. Again, the demographics there are 85% anti-Trump.

Other lawyers posting here have said that the other crime doesn't have to be in their jurisdictions, just has to be another crime.

They've even gone further to say that he didn't have to be found guilty of the crime, or even perhaps have committed the crime. He just had to have the intent to commit the other crime.

This is why Shakespeare wanted to kill all the lawyers. They spend way too much time trying to justify the misuse of the law instead of finding ways to stop the misuse of the law.

If a law is abusive, then get rid of the law our counter it lawfully, but don't blindly put it on a pedestal and defend it because it is The Law.

If the 2 attorneys go with not guilty, they will be forever, doxxed, harassed, or worse. Democrats will insist on that.

We would have to be exceedingly unlucky to have the dumbest Manhattan jury for this case lol

They may be, but at that point, it’s game over anyway. Lawyers are officers of the court and Bragg clearly suborned perjury by putting Cohen on the stand knowing he intended to commit perjury.

What Bragg didn’t anticipate was the uncovering of grand theft by their Star witness. That basically blew their case out of the water.

NOTE: I personally am not going to guess what the jury will do. They should vote not guilty on every count, but I don't expect that. With 34 counts charged, Colangelo/Bragg have 34 chances that at least 1 of the verdicts will be guilty. It's true that these 34 charges are similar and nonsensical, but juries can do unexpected things.

A hung jury on any charge would be a mistrial, which Bragg could retry, and even if he could pardon himself of federal convictions if elected, these are NY state charges.

The counts in the indictment are actually identical, difference only being the dates. And therein lies the quandary. Jury deliberations will be a veritable Donny brook. Would love to be a fly on the wall!

Where the prosecution’s case is particularly weak is not offering any direct evidence a crime was committed. The NDAs were not a crime. Nor were the “falsified” business ledgers, as the prosecution failed to established any direct link to any other “crime.” Sans that linkage, no evidence of any crime, end of story.
