The USA during that period was also, in many weeks, far above other European countries, and is only now getting back into a similar ratio to these other countries.

What, exactly, is so shocking about the corporate media ignoring this? Has the author never watched the corporate media? Has he not seen the hundreds of millions of dollars in advertising Big Pharma pours into corporate media? That is called protection money. I haven't watched in years, but I would guess 60%+ of the advertising on network news casts are paid for by Big Pharma advertising.

This is overblown. Many of the excess deaths were due to aliens from the back side of the seventh moon of Jupiter secretly invading the Earth and taking out a small piece of liver while people were asleep.

No. “Slay” is one of the worst sites out there. I am convinced it is run to discredit the “opposition” by taking a story that has some relevant truth to it and so over-hyping and over-exaggerating it that both the relevant truth and anyone who falls into the trap of pushing their fake story is discredited.
