It all came down to a single phone call that Cohen said took place between him and Trump and that purportedly established that Trump directed Cohen to issue the payment to pay off Stormy Daniels. But phone records obtained by the defense proved that the call, as described by Cohen, did not happen.
Garbage men came today and picked up our trash but refused to take Cohen. They did give us the number for toxic removal.

The prosecution isn’t the least bit bothered.
They accomplished much of what they set out to do. Ding him financially through legal expenses and crippled his campaign efforts. Even if the election interference is only temporary.

Prosecution, it they are certain they will lose the case, which they may, will probably screw something up on purpose so that there is a mistrial. They will never allow Trump to get an innocent verdict.
Part of the problem is that there are too many criminal lawyers and judges (lawyers and judges that are criminals).

And if Trump had or has anything like an Executive Privilege for having been President, don’t worry, Biden ordered Garland to waive or, to otherwise nullify such protections. In other words, all rights and priyileges afforded to American citizens, or even illegal immigrants DO NOT APPLY TO OR PROTECT TRUMP!
Plus, the 85% Biden-voting NY lib jury will vote to convict, anyhow.
It is very rare, but there have been situations where a judge declared that someone was actually innocent.
Cohen lied on the stand yesterday. Phone records prove it was a lie. One does not forget the details of instructions from the president about a payoff. Cohen’s memory is not impaired. It did not happen. He lied, and again committed perjury.
Will he be charged? Not in New York!

The focus of the media has been on this, giving Trump coverage he otherwise wouldn’t get. The whole world, except mSNBC knows this is an abuse of power.
I actually think people tire of Trump. This kept him focused and on message. The gag order was ironically a blessing.

They could easily put on a sham trial knowing that they would likely lose but calculate some side benefits out of it like keeping Trump shackled to courtrooms and off the campaign trail, and fodder for the hacks to talk about is 99 indictments.
