In this context that is not question. Trump thinks he can out talk a 3 on 1 rig job. He had leverage but obviously no negotiating took place here at all. The moderators are 2 of the worst rat propagandists that have ever lived.

Trump didn’t do great in past debates. He needs to reach swing voters.
TERRIBLE move. Biden played Trump like a fiddle. Trump has the momentum currently. The smart move would be to let that continue to build and IF debates are to be held, then hold them in the fall like normal. At that point, Biden might look like such a loser that even a great job at a debate by Biden wouldn’t mean squat.
Instead, the Biden team correctly predicted that Trump would jump at the chance to debate Biden. They inserted a few conditions to confuse the issue when all they really cared about was the June timing.
All Biden has to do is be better than the “He’s a drolling old man” picture that the Trump campaign is trying to paint and it’s enough to completely change things and Biden desperately needs that help right now.
Because it’s closer than we here like to think, and the “undecided voters” are still up for grabs.
We’re a democratic republic. Otherwise, very few of us here would ever get to vote at all.
Exactly, Trump fell for the trap and let them totally stack the deck. This is bad, very bad.

Biden is very cunning. With CNN moderating ,cutting off Trumps microphone,it is certainly a trap, and if so, it will skyrocket Trump’s popularity.

Trump should insist:
First debate in June via ABC.
Second debate at end of July via Fox.
Otherwise, no debates.
Biden knows Trump will get convicted in the sham NY trial, and the debates will never happen.
