Google search is HORRENDOUS these days. Full disclosure, I’ve been using Google since it was NEW. I’m very good at using it to find stuff. Well, I USED to be. Now I throw my best “Include this, not that, in this age range” query at it, and I get stuff not included in my search, and a lot of the time not even RELATED to what I searched for. If this were my software product, I’d be convinced it was broken.

I could have posted the same thing, it went from research heaven to almost useless, so bad that many more serious searches are given up on after trying a lot of different ways to get it to search for the topic you are trying to search for.

AI doesn't help alleviate that at all; like Bing, it very much acts as a nanny for you, keeping you away from things that might be triggering. The only thing it gets right is that the integration is really just another that pops up in-line with the other search results.

You know, for when all the other ads, click-bait, and forced results don't work on you.

Google has basically been like AI for years. When you search for something now then it does not give you what you are asking for. It gives you what they think you are asking for. Which is often not what you want. Good luck to get them to give you what you asked for.
