Former President Donald Trump is making a “heavy move into Minnesota,” hoping to flip the state red after it has consistently voted blue in the presidential election since 1976.
Trump is heading to the blue state this week, speaking at the Minnesota Republican Party’s Lincoln Reagan dinner. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), the Trump campaign’s state campaign chair, said the Minnesota GOP is “honored to welcome” Trump to the state:
Honored to welcome the former and next President of the United States @realDonaldTrump to Minnesota!
We are going to end the failed policies of the Biden Administration and get this country back on track. https://t.co/ytmd5YK2U9

That’s awesome!!! MAGA!!!
Unfortunate word-picture.
Will turnout be down in Minneapolis; otherwise, very iffy.
I remember when Mitt Romney sent Paul Ryan to Minnesota just before election day in 2012, and many people on FR were giddy with delusions about the “fact” that not only was Romney definitely going to win the election he was EVEN GOING TO WIN MINNESOTA!!!!!
Oops.
One supposedly logical excuse for the mass delusion was that if the Romney campaign was spending even one ounce of effort in a place like Minnesota then, surely all — or at least ENOUGH — of the 2012 swing states like Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, New Hampshire, Colorado and Pennsylvania were totally in the bag for the Republicans.
Turns out that “wishful thinking” isn’t quite the same as “logic”, after all.
A lot of what Trump says is trolling.
Imagining Biden upon hearing this...... is a lot of fun.
Agreed. I think it is a head fake. Make Biden spend money where he doesn’t need to.
Good catch......the money angle......make Biden bleed.
“Make Biden spend money where he doesn’t need to.”
LOL. We wish the Democrats were that easily duped.
The Biden campaign has twice the cash-on-hand as Trump does anyway, and could comfortably afford to “defend” Minnesota (while still dumping millions upon millions into the truly up-for-grabs states) if his party was actually dumb enough to believe they needed to do so.
Lol, here come the deep cover election year concern trolls.
