Former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is under active consideration by Donald Trump's campaign to be his running mate, news site Axios reported on Saturday, citing unidentified people familiar with the situation.
Trump could pick Haley if he were convinced she could help him win the presidency, avoid a potential prison sentence and cover tens of millions in legal bills if he loses, the report said.
Haley, the former South Carolina governor and a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, ended her log-shot challenge to Republican presidential frontrunner Trump in March.
She said it was likely Trump - who repeatedly belittled her candidacy - would be the Republican nominee but did not endorse him.

Election year BS to try and muddy the waters.
I find it hard to believe after getting back stabbed by Pence that Trump would not go for anybody who wasn’t very loyal

It is NOT historically uncommon for the presidential candidate to chose the person who got 20% of the primary vote as a running mate. I also think that the RNC has done some polling if this axios article is legit. Regardless, we need to support Trump.
Trump just said no so that ends that

Axios is a bunch of clueless, far left boneheads.
Uh, no!
Has to be clickbait, Trump isn’t that stupid.
Axios .... citing unidentified people familiar with the situation.
*******
The Left, trying to get Trump voters in a tizzy.
Anyone who prefers Gabbard over Noem needs to have their conservative credentials scrutinized closely.
“…citing unidentified people familiar with the situation.”
Phhht!
And just how would it help him with the fake legal troubles?
So much BS.
Maybe over a long period you are correct, but in RECENT history it has been a standard practice for Republican presidential nominees to have running mates who were NOT primary opponents. I believe the Reagan-Bush ticket in 1980 was the last one where two primary opponents ended up running together for the GOP.
Noem is not a conservative. Well, she should be booted because she shot her puppy because it wouldn’t hunt and killed her goat because it stunk. BTW, did she eat either? Maybe she fits in with Obama, but not with any respectable conservatives I know or have ever met.

This passes for news?
I guess we’re not going to have to worry about the Haley pick after all. Thank goodness!
Coming from Axios and Reuters, never bought their BS before and won’t now.
Check my comment history and see what I said about Trump’s VP not being a defense against assassination. I don’t want to copy/paste
