Former President Donald Trump’s classified records trial in Florida has been indefinitely postponed. Instead, Judge Aileen Cannon released an order with multiple pre-trial hearings focused on Special Counsel Jack Smith. Independent journalist Julie Kelly joins to break down why Smith should be worried.

I hope she examines his legal status as Special Counsel.
BTTT
The Supreme Court could save the American People and the USA from the relentless attacks on the electoral process and the corruption of America’s once trustworthy institutions if the Justices were not feckless, confused, and deficient in courage and moral clarity.
Jack Smith is legally not the top prosecutor in the case as I understand things.
He is there for the purpose of assisting DoJ staffers.
The Supreme Court usually works via appeal.
It tries to minimize its enormous workload by giving lower courts the opportunity to settle a matter correctly.
Who is then?
Sure, but in a case where multiple states are abusing the legal system in a blatant attempt to interfere with a Presidential election, I think the SC can and should claim original jurisdiction over all the cases.
In the 60's AM radio would play the top ten songs, over and over. Today in 2024, the state run media plays the same programing, the same song, over and over, on every station in unison.
Crazy, compromised, staff complaining, Unhinged, worrisome, all being said on every network in the exact same cadence.
I think she has a 1000 lb grizzly watching her back!
Judge Cannon is sitting on this motion and could rule on it at any time.
One of the Supreme Court Justices brought the issue up at the oral arguments for immunity.
The Supreme Court is pacing the immunity issue in Smiths DC show trial and Cannon is in full control of the pacing of Smith's documents fiasco in Florida.
Cannon is actually exposing Smiths malicious prosecution and Biden collusion in the documents case which is helping Trump I suspect that she is sitting on ruling on the legality of Smith's appointment to generate more evidence on Smiths framing of Trump and to wait until the Supreme Court rules on immunity.
The Supreme Court will almost certainly rule that the President has immunity for official acts but not for some personal actions.
Given the Court's general history of antipathy to Trump, they will likely remand the determination of whether Trumps actions were personal or private to DC Judge Chutkin and we all know exactly how that will go.
At this point, it would be good timing for Cannon to rule on the illegality of Smith's appointment
Is it possible that we actually have a judge following the rule of law?
May every bogus case agaisnt Trump fall apart at the seams, exposing the corruption and election interference by the left, causing Americans to vote overwhelmingly for Trump handing him a landslide win like never before!
Laura Ingraham played video excerpts of the MSM legal analysts spouting off about this case, and Judge Cannon in particular. They portray her as a partisan hack without much upstairs. It was shocking. She has a target on her back.
“in a case where multiple states are abusing the legal system in a blatant attempt to interfere with a Presidential election, I think the SC can and should claim original jurisdiction over all the cases.”
There is great merit to that statement, but the Supreme Court of 2024 does not want to be seen as partisan, so the outrageous show must go on.
documents case - doubtful it hold up
J6 case - no cause for prosecution at all
Carroll case - no logical basis for award amounts + ex post facto law
valuation case - Trump is an optimistic guy + real estate prices tend to rise
Stormy case - one has the Amendment I right to pay to have a clear say
“I think he is Top Dog, directly assigned by Garland.”
That’s what this says, but I think federal law requires special DoJ people to prosecute classified document cases:

“Jay Bratt, Counseler to the Special Counsel”
Special Counsel I believe are required to be independent.
Federal classified document cases must be prosecuted by certain DoJ people I believe. Jack Smith I believe is not legally entitled to prosecute, only to advise.
Looks like that is starting to happen in greater scope and increasing intensity!
I doubt he is a Bob Mueller, meaning just the face with the real tigers behind him clawing feverishly, but I don’t know the technicalities.
Interesting twist; thanks.
