Good evening, radu...everything still standing, or is the bad weather still on the way?
Pretty dreary today with maybe 10 raindrops.
Hope your spring is going well, Mooch.
ALL of my snow is now gone!!
Bible in a Year :
The desert will bloom with flowers.
A century ago, lush forest covered roughly 40 percent of Ethiopia, but today it’s around 4 percent. Clearing acreage for crops while failing to protect the trees has led to an ecological crisis. The vast majority of the remaining small patches of green are protected by churches. For centuries, local Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido churches have nurtured these oases in the midst of the barren desert. If you look at aerial images, you see verdant islands surrounded by brown sand. Church leaders insist that watching over the trees is part of their obedience to God as stewards of His creation.
The prophet Isaiah wrote to Israel, a people who lived in an arid land where bare desert and brutal droughts threatened. And Isaiah described the future God intended, where “the desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom” (Isaiah 35:1). God intends to heal His people, but He intends to heal the earth too. He’ll “create new heavens and a new earth” (65:17). In God’s renewed world, “the desert will bloom with flowers” (35:2 nirv).
God’s care for creation—including people—motivates us to care for it too. We can live in sync with His ultimate plan for a healed and whole world—being caretakers of what He’s made. We can join God in making all kinds of deserts bloom with life and beauty. .
Reflect & Pray
Where do you see some part of creation barren or suffering? How will you be part of seeing deserts bloom?
Creator God, please show me how to help heal and restore what’s broken in the world.

Howdy, Kathy.
Got lucky this time. There were two storms headed for the county, both with tornado warnings. They got close enough together, it looks like the southern one sucked the energy out of the northern one. I’m in the clear but the southern part of the county is getting a hit now.
Just raining here but in every direction I look, the sky is flashing. Still several tornado and severe storm warnings all around.
Been a rough day across the state and we still have another round to deal with after midnight. No tornados with that line at the moment and I hope it stays that way. Still a few storms firing up west of here so this round isn’t quite finished.
Too bad you couldn’t get some rain with your clouds today. Y’all need some rain.
Good evening, Pro...hope you are having a lovely week so far. Nice spring weather to enjoy...
Did you get your first mow in?
Howdy, luvie.
So far, so good here at the farm. A tornado went through the south part of the county a short while ago and put on a nice light show, though there’s been intense lightning flashing in every direction all night.
More storms are firing up to the west but nothing severe with those ..... yet. And they aren’t even part of Round Two. Gonna be a long night.
I hope it was a comfy day down there today.
Hey there, radu!
Glad the tornado missed you and I hope any of them coming down the pike miss you, too! Heard from Jeff Peotrowski’s X page that there was one on the ground in or close to Elkton.
It was nice, but windy. The wind ruined it for me and for the kitties. I think it has calmed down now. No going out though. I haven’t had a chance to clean the patio chairs and table. Birds, ya know. Mess up everything. LOL!
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Today’s politicians & Deep State have disgraced all those who sacrificed to keep this nation free. Think of their treason as you watch this tribute!!
A tribute to Navy gunner Loyce Edward Deen, a Navy gunner that was killed in action in late 1944.

Comments below the video:
This is one of the most powerful film & music combination I have ever seen & heard, as a UK Veteran I felt compelled to read everything I could find on the internet about Loyce Deen..
“In ocean wastes no poppies blow, No crosses stand in ordered row, Their young hearts sleep... beneath the wave... The spirited, the good, the brave, But stars a constant vigil keep, For them who lie beneath the deep.
1st!!
