All FBI Agents have Top Secret Clearance. However, Secret Compartmentalized Information (SCI) specifically requires being read into a program and an extra level of vetting (regular polygraphs required). It is conceivable that agents executing a search warrant might run across documents that were SCI and it would be very unlikely they were cleared and read into those programs….unless they knew that stuff would be there and prepared for it.

"I’ll never understand these people, they spend all that time and money getting a law degree, working their way up and they gamble it all for what? What did Nifong hope to achieve?"

Criminals achieve the attitude that the longer they get away with their crimes, the less likely they will be caught or confronted. But in reality, it's the other way around. They become so lax in their criminal acts, that they get sloppy, and make mistakes, which makes them more vulnerable to discovery. Nifong should have been burned at the stake for what he did to those Duke players. The college stabbed them in the back too, all for a crackhead dancer who went on to murder her boyfriend for which she has been doing time since 2013. She got 14 to 18 years for 2nd degree murder. The Duke players sued the college and an assistant professor. The college paid each one accused $20 million.

I hope this opens up all kinds of discovery that will doom smith now and in the future, so I hope she doesn’t dismiss. One item on the current calendar is hearing the case about Smith not even being a legitimate special prosecutor.
That would be worth the price of admission.

I think people ridiculing it (based on people getting fixated on “BOMBSHELL!” and “BOOM!” and things like that...to the point they go out of their way to put things like that in the keywords) are missing the point.

The thing isn’t that it is or isn’t a bombshell or any asinine term like that, it is that the effort at election tampering by prosecuting Trump is clearly not being thrown in the trash like any case where this kind of behavior by prosecutors is revealed, but is simply being put on hold.

This should never even have been a case to begin with, and the fact that this insanely egregious behavior, not even denied by the prosecution (which only attempted to be explained away) should make everyone recognize it is a purely political prosecution, and the judge is in on it as well even if she isn’t coming across like Mechan in New York.

FBI agents are for the most part file clerks and punks. Nothing will change until the FBI is disbanded and their forces disbursed out of the DC area and attached to their respective agencyies’ enforcement arm.

There are clerks at the FIB, but they are not agents, and agents aren’t clerks.

They may be GS13 “agents” for payroll purposes but they are still useless punk clerks.

Chain of custody broken, appearance of evidence being tainted is clear, out it goes. See it 50 times in criminal courts, both civilian and military in my 32 years in and around courts.

What we don’t know with any certainty is “Did they plant documents?” “Did Biden reclassify any of them?”

The DOJ is not going to charge its own people.

The DOJ must be reorganized and renamed. Possibly have people from military agencies take over while the DOJ is dismantled.
