Screw Chicago!

I wonder if the Juneteenth parade will suffer the same indignity.

I never, ever imagined something would be canceled in Chicago-——Chicago!——due to safety concerns.
Such a safe place for tourists and shoppers. Gun free zone downtown. Get your kids into their Kevlar vests and steel helmets and watch the parade. But now canceled.

Cinco De Mayo doesn’t deserve a parade. Just go drink and have some Mexican food like normal people

Communists never allowed gatherings of more than 3 people.
What’s the difference?
To: Navy Patriot
I know! I know!
Just make the parade route a gun-free zone.
That will solve everything.

Irony is that Cinco de Mayo, like St Patrick’s Day, is celebrated more here than in the home country.
To: Navy Patriot
It's not a real holiday in Mexico. In America it is a holiday created by the breweries to sell beer to white boys.

That’s how it is with St. Patrick’s day here. My grandmother told me in Ireland it’s more of a church and family feast day.
