NATO starts deploying troops as Russia races to win
Asia Times ^ | 4/26/24 | Steven Bryen

NATO is starting to deploy combat troops to Ukraine. Soldiers from Poland, France, the UK, Finland and other NATO members are arriving in larger numbers.

Although Russia says there are over 3,100 mercenaries in Ukraine, these newly arriving troops are not mercenaries. They are in uniform, home country proclaimed via insignia. They mostly are concentrated in the western part of the country, although in some cases they are close to the actual fighting in the east.

Evil marches under its own official banner.

And unlike the wicked residents of Sodom and Gibeah, who confined themselves to raping visitors to their cities, Globohomo tries to impose its ideology on EVERY UNWILLING NATION ON EARTH !

” I will go further and state that those that followed Churchill’s lead remain the greatest generation. “

Of course. People who want to fight useless wars that are to the detriment of their own countries will always idolize this guy.

Because NeoCons think they are re-enacting WW2, when they are actually re-enacting WW1.

Your disrespect of those who you owe your freedom to is now complete. Enjoy your Canada and your own Trudeau. Work on your own back yard, hoser. You are in no position to criticize.

In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled NATO starts deploying troops as Russia races to win, Petrosius wrote:
Our CIA set this in motion years ago by overthrowing the Ukraine and installing their NATO puppets.

Still pushing that lie? Typical Soviet style propaganda. The Ukrainian government was elected by the people in two separate elections, not installed by the CIA.

The CIA's Nuland was caught on a recording admitting to it. This is known within the US- it's not a Russian rumor. It actually started earlier with Hillary (of course), but Nuland was involved in the larger action later.

You do know about Hunter and Burisma, right? The Ukraine helped in the election interference and money laundering. You know Pelosi, Romney, Shumer and Biden all had relatives working in the Ukraine, collecting big money - recall Biden gets 10%?  Remember Trump asking Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden re extorting the Ukrainian prosecutor, and Zelensky refused? KNow about the child trafficking there? Did you hear Trump say 'you want to help the people, but Ukraine is among the most corrupt nations in the world"?

For the record, Biden wasn't elected 'by the people' anymore than Ukraine's leaders were 'elected'.

Canada joined WW1 on August 4, 1914.

When did the USA join WW1 ?

Canada joined WW2 on Sept 10, 1939.

When did the USA join WW2 ?

And you think those Canadians were war mongers and neo-cons? What names do you call them?

From Wikipedia: Estimates from 2021 suggest that of the entire U.S. population (332 million) about 63% is Christian (210 million). 34% of Americans are weekly Church goers.

Let’s not throw out the baby with the bathwater.

We should be encouraging American Christians everywhere we go.

” And you think those Canadians were war mongers and neo-cons? “

No. They saw themselves as loyal subjects of the Empire, who were fighting for King and Country. They thought it was best at the time.

But it was obviously foolish, and not in our interest.

The idea that Canada would re-enact Passchendaele or Vimy Ridge or the Battle of the Somme in the Donbass, on the basis that those were worthwhile, has to be the most insane suggestion that the NeoCons or anyone else in the modern world has ever made.

You are right that Christians are still in the majority, and mostly don’t support this.

But Elites determine the conduct of Nations. And Nations are judged by what they do. Not what the powerless masses want, but are denied.

So, NATO has declared war on Russia.

No, there is no evidence of a required NATO consensus. This is not a NATO action, but an independent action by several NATO members.

I would agree that the average Ukrainian dogface is a sorry lot, dying for the ills of Obama and Biden.

Cheer them on though, PedoJoe is your CiC , support him proudly, don’t shirk or be shy about it.! Tell you what Mr.Conservative, how about Washington’s Farewell Address, where he specifically cautions against getting dragged down in Euro conflicts?

Lemme, guess, George is outdated, huh? here’s the part where he warns about getting entangled in petty EuroSquabbles

George Washington's Farewell Address (1796)

The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements, let them be fulfilled with perfect good faith. Here let us stop. Europe has a set of primary interests which to us have none; or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies, the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns.

Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves by artificial ties in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.

Our detached and distant situation invites and enables us to pursue a different course. If we remain one people under an efficient government. the period is not far off when we may defy material injury from external annoyance; when we may take such an attitude as will cause the neutrality we may at any time resolve upon to be scrupulously respected; when belligerent nations, under the impossibility of making acquisitions upon us, will not lightly hazard the giving us provocation; when we may choose peace or war, as our interest, guided by justice, shall counsel.

Why forego the advantages of so peculiar a situation? Why quit our own to stand upon foreign ground? Why, by interweaving our destiny with that of any part of Europe, entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition, rivalship, interest, humor or caprice?

Billions more for PedoJoe’s partners in corruption, Ukraine ! George would probably deny that you are an American, well, the new “breed” , that allows outr own borders to be wide open yet are concerned about European borders. Traitorous is what I call it.

"And who are you to tell them they were misguided ?"

--------------------------------------

You are ridiculous.

It is not a great stretch to believe that the destruction of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment was an example of heroic sacrifice, while believing that it was not in the interest of Newfoundland, or Canada, or anyone else to have done it.

Of the approximately 800 soldiers of the Newfoundland Regiment who fought that day, only 68 were able to answer roll call following the battle. The regiment suffered 710 casualties — 386 wounded and 324 who were killed, died of their wounds, or missing (presumed dead).

You’re a Reverend. You mentioned Sodom and Gomorrah. Surely you remember Genesis 18? There are plenty of righteous men here in the USA, and God has promised not to destroy where many righteous men are.

20 Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous 21 that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.”

22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord.[b] 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare[c] the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

27 Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, 28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”

“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”

29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”

He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”

30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”

He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

31 Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”

He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”

32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”

He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

33 When the Lord had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

"I explained. You still speak English."

Poor answer. All you asked was if I spoke English. You didn't provide a context for what you were asking.

We won WWII because we were the strongest nation on this planet. That is no longer the case. Today, America would never be able to fight a prolonged war, wouldn't be able to raise an Army, even with a draft, nor produce what was needed to supply a prolonged war. What we did in WWII will never be reproduced, or repeated again. And I highly doubt that NATO countries like Germany, Turkey, or the rest of them would be compelled to come to our aid if we needed it.

I was born in 1947 when this country was still sane, and hadn't yet seen an uncontrolled invasion of the southern border by illegals speaking multiple languages that the government has felt compelled to accommodate. When my parents came here with their parents to this country, in order to survive, they had to assimilate themselves into the American lifestyle and culture. Today, the illegals who come here, aren't even held responsible for the crime of coming here illegally. They are catered to, and given all kinds of benefits...benefits even Americans born here aren't eligible for. But let's worry about Russia, right?

For some reason, you are more focused on what is going on overseas than you are on what is happening in your own backyard. When Obama said he was going to "fundamentally transform this country," he wasn't kidding. It had already been well on its way to being transformed into a third world commie crap hole. Obama's three terms at the helm have seen more of our Constitutional rights being eroded daily.

Did you ever think that you would see a Presidential election stolen? Did you ever think that you would see police agencies told to stand down when crimes were committed? Did you ever think that cities would offer cashless bail to violent offenders, so they could go right back out and commit more violent crimes? Did you ever think you'd see a former President being attacked so viciously by his political opponents, to the point that he would be deliberately charged with frivolous crimes as a means to keep him from gaining office again? Did you ever think, in the wake of 9/11 that you would see Americans protesting in favor of terrorists, against our ally Israel? Those are things that happen in 3rd world countries, not the United States, but yet, here we are. Russia is the problem, right?

It isn't Russia that's turning this country into crap...it's the RAT party, and the Repukes who collude with the RATS. You should be more worried that the traitors in this country are destroying this country piece by piece, than being obsessed with what is going on 5,000 miles away, in a country the U.S. has no national security interest in. But if you want endless wars, go for it.

One would think that as a vet, you'd be against the continuation of war. My brother was a Vietnam vet. He enlisted in the U.S. Army for three years, and served in the 25th Infantry Division, Cu Chi 1966-1967. He died at the young age of 51, leaving a widow and four kids. For someone whose only wish growing up, was that he could be a soldier, he wasn't prepared for the reality that the Vietnam War brought...that it was a proxy war against Russia and China, and that his own government would't let him fight the way the military is supposed to fight, to end the war with a complete victory. I'm just glad that he never lived to see the country he served, turned into a fascist-commie state, because today, fascism and communism are one and the same. I'm also glad that I'm on the tail-end of my life, and hopefully won't live to see this country totally destroyed. The election in November is the election of your life. Either our Republic will be pulled from the edge of the abyss it has been headed for, or it will finally take that last plunge, and be lost forever.
